“The mold smell was the biggest issue. Immediately felt sinuses inflamed, itchy. Itchy ears, watery eyes and in the morning my chest felt tight. When I communicated this with the host, they were sympathetic, offered another option for a later date. When I said I couldn’t stay there another night and needed a refund, they became very rude and stopped communicating until Airbnb got involved. Never left a bad review for a place. This was just terrible. The photos make it look nicely updated. The updates are amateur and obviously haven’t dealt with the black mold. One bedroom door couldn’t close. There wasn’t clear instructions on how to use the keypad. You have to hold your whole hand over the keypad until it lights up. I was just unfamiliar with this type. That wasn’t a big deal as they were quick to respond and helpful. The towels are clean sheets were clean floors were clean. Bathroom was clean other than the black mold in the shower.”

“Quiet and safe and very well located. Next to the coastal walk and some good bike shops and good restaurants. Great place to stay if you’re about to go on a cruise also.”
