“Very clean environment.”

“The place was nicely decorated, but needed newer cushions and pillows. There was stains on the curtains and a rip on the loveseat couch cover. The baseboards are dusty and we got dirty dishes from the cabinets. The area is awesome and is very close to the beach. This is our 3rd time staying at the Rookery and we love it. The outside of the house is very nice and parking is very close to the house. This is my first time to have RedAwning as a host and had a $216 unexpected pet fee that we found out about the night before we left. We searched for a pet friendly place and the total for 3 days was $1100 and when I went to pay it jumped to almost $1600 I assumed that was the pet fee. I also registered the dog at this point too through Luna Beaches who is the owner of the property. When we got to the beach house the registered dog leash sleeve was already there. Our 3 day stay with our very well trained behaved pet, was $1800. I do not feel like the stay was worth it.”

“Beautiful location on the lagoon! While we didn’t really use it, the back porch overlooking the water was serene and made for lovely morning walks with our pup! The living space was perfectly roomy, clean, and updated. The rental company did contact us outside of Airbnb to sign their rental agreement, which was a first for me, but they were very responsive via text message for any questions that I had. Would definitely book again!!”
