Southern Vacation Rentals in Orange Beach, Alabama

“The condo was great and the location was perfect. However, simple items that almost all Airbnb rentals have as well as hotels were lacking. There is a coffee pot but no coffee, most offer at least one single coffee packet and a filter. There was a washer and dryer but no single use complimentary laundry soap or even an area on the grounds to get some. This seems small but was very frustrating and for the cost these small items should be thought of and included.”

“Loved it. Just isn’t like how we had to drive 25 minutes to pick up the keys and drop them off. Other than that it was amazing.”

“Would never book here again. The condo itself was very pretty, clean and right next to the beach which are the only good things i can say. Unexpected fees include having to pay $50 per car up to two in order to park in the only parking lot available. Customer service was horrible as nobody on the southern vacation side are on the same page & tell you two totally different things. Ice price is outrageous & another unexpected fee was the chairs on the beach you have to rent out for $50 Each per day. For the amount you pay for the condo itself, parking and the already existing beach chairs should be complimentary.”

“The condo was very nice and looked exactly like the pictures. However, for the price, I would’ve liked to have had simple things like a travel size dish soap/sponge provided, and simple things like that for initial use. There were a few other issues as well. The leg on the chair in the living room was broken and was almost a hazard when my mother almost sat down in it. The Jack and Jill bathroom drains don’t drain well at the tub pools up at your feet and probably needs to be snaked. The front twin bed room is very warm. Bought a fan because the room was not very cool. The refrigerator door doesn’t close up tight and the bottom flashing was just hanging there. Additionally, there were no instructions about unlocking the door. There was only a door code given. However, you also had to turn the deadbolt lock and the handle to get the door to open. There were no instructions saying anything about that. Overall, the accommodations were great and very clean!”

“Loved this unit. It had everything you'll need for a stay. The only thing that really irritated me was they only leave 1 dishwasher pod, no extra trash bags at all, and a very small pack of dish soap that'll you can only hand wash dished once with. I should not have had to buy dish soap, trash bags or dishwasher pods on my own, especially for a few day stay.”
