While the location and interior were amazing, we did have a couple of unfortunate issues. The WiFi went out while we were there and the reception wasn’t great, this in and of itself isn’t a terrible thing. It happens. One of the people I traveled with is taking online college classes and needed to have Internet access. I reached out to the local contact 4 times over 3 days and heard nothing. I reached out to the management and was called within a few hours, but later I tried to contact them again and never got a response either. Again, the wifi wasn’t a huge deal, but the lack of response was frustrating. Theres also a fence that goes around the entire porch that is covered in rust, and some outdoor furniture that was rusted also. We had to be cautious that our kids didn’t touch any of those things. The beds were very comfortable and the house itself was lovely. The communication and rust issues were unfortunate.

This was our third booking at this condo in the last 4 years. The place is extremely clean and comfortable with a great balcony and view of the Gulf of Mexico. But this year it was difficult to get in. The access code for the parking lot gate was wrong. It took us a while to find someone who shared their code. I called Avari but they put me on hold for 7 minutes before I gave up. Then the access code for the condo door was wrong, so I tried the other one which was supposedly for the parking lot gate worked for the door. We finally got in after almost an hour of frustration.

The communication was incredibly bad. I never received the code to the door, so I called and waited on hold for at least 30 mins. They finally gave me a code when I was about 10 minutes from getting there. The door was actually unlocked when I got there which was good in my case because the code given didn’t work. I messaged them several times about it and never received another code. The back door handle was broken among other things. The WiFi didn’t work so I messaged them about that, they said they would have someone contact me which never happened, so we barely had service the entire time. The location was great, but I will never book with this company again. I will book one of the other houses. I have never rented an Airbnb with such bad communication. I’m a pretty laid back person so a few bad reviews won’t deter me from renting a place if it seems nice, Im not sure I would have gotten into the room that day if it wasn’t unlocked when I go there. Let this review be a warning.

Communication was tough here. most of the early responses to our questions were answered late and very generic. we were originally given an early check in option. we arrived at the early check in time but had not received the door code. after 45 minutes on hold and multiple messages we were finally let in. once in we enjoyed the space. it was definitely unique and cool. it was about a 5 minute walk on the boardwalk to the beach which was super easy! other than communication this place was a great spot for our family and dog!

Do not recommend this place or company. No communication to fix issues. Downstairs refrigerator did not cool, no hot water in upstairs bathroom, oven didn’t work, had to reset the breakers to get the plugs to work. spa was unusable which was the main reason for picking the place. Wi-fi didn’t work upon arrival. They did send someone on day two to fix.. ended up leaving a day early because it was not up to standard. Very poor management.a very bad way to spend Easter weekend with the grandkids. Very disappointed
