“Josh’s space was in a great location, easy to find, right in the heart of downtown Birmingham. Check in instructions were easy. Only had a small hiccup; there weren’t any bath towels/wash clothes but it was handled the next day. Inconveniently though, I had to purchase bath towels etc.”

“Josh was responsive and communicated fairly okay throughout this process, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the condition of the unit did not meet expectations, particularly regarding cleanliness and overall readiness for guests. I believe more attention to detail is needed to ensure future guests have the experience advertised.”

“I have been to this area numerous times for work, first time staying at this Airbnb - Overall, I don’t consider myself a snob, but the apartment stayed at 74 degrees for majority of my stay. I changed the thermostat and it took days (3 days), before it went down to 70. Also, lots to stains on furniture, scuffs on walls, and the living room ceiling fan didn’t work. I messaged about the AC and ceiling fan and got a response, but no follow through (I stayed for 4 nights). Also found a random shirt in the closet with hairs on it and there needs to be a tv in the bedroom (which I knew there wasn’t one before, but that was before the air and ceiling fan issues). I did get to walk around town a lot for work and hangouts, but the place itself wasn’t the best for the price and conditions.”
