“Josh’s place was in a great location! There are restaurants close, and downtown is less than 10 minutes away. The area also felt safe and the neighborhood was quiet. The instructions were great, and the house pretty much has what you need. However, if you are looking for a well maintained, fresh home — then this is not it. It is an old house, that is pet friendly. A lot of the home is not shown in the listing photos.”

“Beautifully decorated historical house with all necessary amenities . Very spacious. Pretty backyard and porch. Comfortable beds. One thing got in the way of being fully enjoyable and comfortable : an odor of mildew permeates throughout the house ! Not sure if it comes from the AC vents? If it could be corrected , the place would be a gem!!!”

“Location was great. Being near the road was a little noisy but didn't really bother me but I'm not a light sleeper. Responsiveness from Josh was also excellent. However, there was a wad of hair on the bedroom floor and in the living room. Also, hair on bathroom sink. Josh sent the cleaning lady the next day;however, she wiped the counters but didn't get up the hair. I know this because the counters were still damp with bleach solution when I returned but hair was still there. Also, had a big cockroach show up. Josh claimed they had the place sprayed so just to give it time. Idk, other than some of the cleanliness issues which I had sent pictures of and wasn't cleaned. It wasn't a bad spot. I noticed my allergies acting up so I also cleaned the a/c filters which had not been cleaned recently. All in all decent place but clealiness could be addressed a bit more.”

“Once we arrived and saw the residence. Immediately we didn’t like the appearance. We felt this property was very misrepresented in more ways than one that we didn’t enter. Multiple people residing in a “Multiple” residence within one isn’t an ideal stay for a family. Now if a group of single people something like a frat party or reunion of friends I think is fine. However, for a military vet with extreme PTSD, & anxiety isn’t ideal. Needless to say, we had to make alternate accommodations for our stay, which was very unexpected mind you. This is only our experience. This property could very well suit others, for us not so much. Also, I feel if you’re providing a service like this, it should be well kept inside and out having the curb appeal for future potential customers.”

“We request for early check in and Paid as per Josh request ($20) And when we arrive at location Lock was not authorized. We waited for almost 30 minutes. Worst part is there are no body wash and Hair shampoos in any Restrooms . Looks like no maintenance at all As we noticed broken blinds of Front window. We sent photos to josh”

“Overall enjoyed my stay. A few critiques include; the yard is not fully fenced off, a utility blade was found near the play ground, maintenance and yard work men were there two days of the ten we stayed without any notice and left the gate open.”

“The house was beautiful, but we were told that the 2 bathrooms were “almost identical” prior to booking. That is not the case. For a 4 bedroom home, another half bath or full bathroom would be beneficial. Instructions on how to use the dishwasher would have also been helpful.”

“Upon arriving around 17:40, I observed neighbors openly smoking what appeared to be drugs in the driveway. The occupants of the adjacent unit were blocking the shared entrance, drinking heavily, and behaving loudly in a way that made the environment feel unsafe. I left immediately without ever entering the property. I contacted the hosts right away. Rather than addressing the situation meaningfully, they asked whether I had taken photos and stated they would only consider a refund if I canceled and they were able to rebook the unit. Canceling would also have prevented me from leaving this review. The hosts claimed it was safe to return, but I was not willing to risk my safety. Travelers should understand this is not a quiet or secure environment, and the hosts were unwilling to take responsibility when serious concerns were raised.”

“The kitchen was a little under stocked.. soon as we walked in the was wrapper( candy) on the floor chip bags in the back yard couldn’t use the swing because the magnolia leaves have been raked under the swing.. the washer is very very loud”

“We stayed for the weekend with our family and two pets. The house itself is spacious with a nice backyard for dogs, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the cleanliness wasn’t up to expectations, we found bugs, spider webs, and hair on the shower walls. One of the shared bathroom showers clogged and had no hot water. While the host provided toiletries the next day, the shower issues weren’t addressed during our stay.”
