“We really enjoyed our stay overall. The pool and putting green were great amenities, and the house was conveniently located close to the beach with easy access. The house itself was nice, spacious, and gave our family plenty of room to spread out. That being said, there were several maintenance issues that affected our stay. There was a significant mold issue on the ceiling in both the master bathroom and laundry room. Several of the lights throughout the house were also burnt out, and the hot water only worked for the first day of our stay. The kitchen sink faucet was very loose, and there was no broom or vacuum available to clean up during our stay. With some attention to these maintenance and housekeeping issues, this could be a really great vacation rental. We loved the location, space, and outdoor amenities, but the issues above were disappointing and should be addressed for future guests.”

“We enjoyed our stay at The Rookery 3002! Our cottage was in a quiet community just a 5 min walk from the beach. It was very cute and clean. The beds were really comfortable and we enjoyed having a kitchen to cook dinner when we were too tired to go out! I was thankful for the clotheslines in the bathrooms and the washer and dryer after our days out at the beach. If you are staying for more than a couple of days, be prepared to purchase items like handsoap, trash bags, and toilet paper, but the starter kit of supplies should be enough for a weekend stay and there is a Dollar General only a few miles away. Overall, it was a lovely stay and I would be happy to stay here again if we return to the Gulf Shores area!!”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the condo! The location was perfect, and the condo itself was very comfortable. We especially appreciated how well-stocked the kitchen was with pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, and other essentials. It made our stay much more convenient. The only downside was the limited amount of basic supplies provided. There were four of us staying for four days, and we were only provided with one roll of toilet paper, with none in the second bathroom. Since we were traveling from Texas, it was a little inconvenient to have to purchase basic necessities shortly after arriving. We’ve stayed at several Airbnbs in the past that provided enough toilet paper and paper towels for the duration of the stay, so we were a little surprised by this. We also noticed that there wasn’t any hand soap provided in the bathrooms. These are definitely small things and didn’t take away from the overall experience, but providing a few extra basic necessities would make it even better.”
