Manager Review

Wonder Vacation Homes

Wonder Vacation Homes's guest rating of 4.58 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

This is the worst experience I ever had with an air bnb host out of the 4 years I’ve been booking. They provided us with the incorrect gate code, and when we tried the number that was provided to contact their establishment, it was disconnected. We waited over half an hour before a response was given. The shower water began to smell like chlorine after 10 minutes of having it on and it had a generous amount of water that leaking after it’s been turned off. Unfortunately our car was towed on the day of checkout due to sideways parking not being allowed even though it was on the paved driveway, which was not stated anywhere in the house or towing rules they have listed. Upon speaking to the towing company on the HOA rules, multiple rules were not stated correctly or just not even included in their listing. Instead of reimbursing us for the fee to retrieve our vehicle they forawrded us Florida road laws that had nothing to do with the circumstances. Truly the worst experience by far.

The stay was great.. the house was huge and the kids enjoyed it. The home looked just like the pictures.. The checking in and parking was the only thing that was really a hassle!!. Overall it was a great place to stay !!.

This was one of the most misrepresented Airbnb stays I have ever experienced. The listing photos are either extremely outdated or intentionally misleading. The “view” was overgrown with weeds, dead plants, and neglected landscaping and looked nothing like the beautiful property shown online. Inside was worse. Two of the three bedrooms were INFESTED with literally thousands of ants crawling on the walls, floors, furniture, and inside the beds. These rooms were unusable for sleeping. Paying for a 3-bedroom house and effectively losing 2 bedrooms is unacceptable. The spa/pool amenities we paid extra for barely worked despite being advertised as a major feature. What makes this worse is that prior reviews mentioned similar issues and the host publicly claimed they had been “fixed.” They clearly were not. The host knew about these problems and continued renting the property anyway. Poorly maintained, inaccurately advertised, and horrifying experience. Do not stay with this host.

Pros: The house was amazing. Such a great space for a big group of people. Nice little neighborhood and not too far from all the Disney stuff. Cons: We had trouble getting into the resort pool/clubhouse/gym though- according to the employees our house was not on the list because they hadn't paid their dues. This was frustrating because the kids just wanted to use the big pool slides and that is one reason we booked this house. I felt communication was completely overwhelming as it was pre-scripted and sent frequently (through the Wonder Vacation portal AND Airbnb AND by text) but when we needed personal help the host was often unresponsive. Shout out to Bruce who was finally the one to answer my texts and help me out with a few things. FYI you cannot have guests at this house, only people staying there can come in. That was disappointing for us to find out.

Our stay here could have been better unfortunately. We had 6 kids with us all looking forward to certain amenities that weren’t working, including the air hockey table. The WiFi was in and out the entire time and the rooms were very warm (can’t turn down thermostats so bring a fan). The communication was a bit overwhelming as you get contacted through the app, email, and text all at once leaving it unclear where to even respond. Pool light was broken as well. The house was clean however which was nice and the kids bedrooms were a great time for them.

this place was not worth the price. the wi-fi did not work the entire time i stayed here, the outside areas were dirty and filled with spiderwebs even on the seats. the central air was out of wack and always cold, not to mention the random $400 deposit they sprung on us and haven’t refunded yet. all around, not worth what was paid.

I know things come up. But our jacuzzi tub had no jets or pool lights. We reserved this home specifically for evening hours after Disney park days. For all seven days we stayed our host said he was sending someone out and it was marked urgent. Nobody came, then our host was SO RUDE about it! Like it was our fault when we checked in there was garbage in the pool and it didn’t work. Customer service was terrible. The carpets were all stained and furniture was in rough shape. Very disappointed!!

It was a nice place but they don’t allow you to control the A/C. The lowest you can put it on is 72 so we all were hot going to sleep. The bathrooms didn’t have any face towels so we had to use the hand towels which was interesting but overall decent stay

Here’s my REAL review to owner. Enjoyed the location and accommodations however I didn’t appreciate the 22 text messages upselling the extras & ownership pitch outside the AirBnB app. If you want a 5 star rating, you treat them as guests with respect and not approach them as prospects attempting to convert them to time-share owners. One annoyed client!

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share our experience. From the first day of our stay, we encountered multiple cockroaches in both the kitchen and bedroom areas. We immediately contacted the host. At first, we declined pest control due to concerns about chemical exposure for our children, but after continuing to see more cockroaches, we agreed to proceed. The host confirmed that pest control would be arranged, but there was no update for an extended period of time. Despite multiple follow-ups, the issue was never properly resolved, and we continued to see cockroaches throughout our stay. Communication was also frustrating. At one point, the host incorrectly stated that we had declined pest control services, even though we had already agreed. We had to provide screenshots to clarify, and responses were delayed throughout the process. In addition, the condition of the furniture did not meet expectations. The sofa was heavily worn, with peeling mate
