“Headwall at the Peaks was an exceptional home and exceeded our expectations. Accurately portrayed by the listing's photos and descriptions, it had more space and was better appointed than we imagined. Our family of 4 generations from age 2 to 80, gathering as the groom's family for my son's wedding, found the property not only comfortable and well-equipped, but it also provided space for everyone to gather together or find quiet space apart from the chaos. The kitchen was amazing with everything I needed to cook for 16. We had one minor hiccup when the boiler went out and we had no hot water. However, the hosts were immediately responsive and within the hour had a repairman on site and hot water restored in no time. This speaks volumes to me - no matter how lovely a property is, the service provided when something goes awry makes or breaks the experience. Stephanie is an exceptional host and was immediately responsive whenever I messaged her. This is the place to stay!!”

“On our way to the Mansion house, I got a message from Sunday River explaining a problem with the boiler that had been discovered. They offered to keep me informed on the progress of fixing the issue before check in. When it was determined the issue could not be fixed in time for our stay, a replacement house in the area was immediately offered. While it was disappointing not being able to stay in the house we had originally picked, I felt that Sunday River Co. handled the situation very professionally, and efficiently. The house we stayed in instead (Rediker) was clean, with lots of space to spread out. My family enjoyed the hot tub, and the downstairs area for games. I really appreciated the communication from Sunday River Co., and their ability to turn around something that could have ruined our vacation. I would definitely stay at one of their properties again.”

“We stayed at the property over the weekend in May. It is not often that the real place is better than the pictures, but I was blown away by how much more I liked the place in person. The living space is great. The kitchen is very cute and well-appointed, and each bedroom has an attached bathroom. The lawn was really large, and the Bryant Pond is beautiful peeking through the trees. It rained heavily on Friday night, but we were still able to be outside as the property has an incredible wrap-around porch with plenty of seating. The town is a short 8-10 minute drive where you can eat out, watch a movie, or go bowling. The weather was not ideal for hiking or golf, but we did find so many options right nearby! The host communicated right away and even reached out after our first night to see how it went. And as a final perk, you can actually walk to the "World's Largest Telephone" sculpture. We would love to stay here again.”

“We had such an amazing stay here and truly didn’t want to leave. The house is even better than the photos…beautiful, cozy, and incredibly well thought out. Every detail felt intentional, from the comfortable furnishings to the well-stocked kitchen and little touches throughout. The setting was perfect, peaceful, scenic, and ideal for a relaxing getaway, but still convenient to everything we needed. We especially loved the hot tub and outdoor space. Everything was spotless, and communication with the host was seamless from start to finish. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect escape.”

“We had a great stay! The home was clean, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook big meals. We really enjoyed the location on the lake, we spent a whole day just playing on the ice and hanging out by the fire pit. The home is also an easy 20 minutes to Sunday River. The hosts are very responsive; we requested a firewood delivery and received it within the hour. We would stay here again!”
