“Overall a good stay, but management gaps made it tough for 12 guests. The screened-in pool kept bugs down (though we got a few bites), and the dock was great—the kids and husband loved fishing with the provided poles and gear. The ice machines, coolers, and beach gear were fantastic perks.However, communication and logistics fell short. We were down a shower due to a broken door, which wasn't communicated in advance, and we received no discount despite the major 12-person bottleneck.The house is under-equipped for max capacity. Bath towels are limited, made worse by a dryer that takes forever leading to an overage on electricity which you get charged after your stay. If you cook, note that storage dishes are scarce. Finally, trash is an issue: outdoor cans were completely full when we arrived Saturday, and with pickup not until Tuesday, one large and one small can are not enough for a house this size.”

“The location is ideal close to restaurants, grocery stores, and beach. The boat dock and pool are great. Paddle boards were good except one is broken. The house has a bad ant problem and very low water pressure causing the toilets to not flush properly. The AC went out so we decided to leave a day earlier due to the inconveniences we had during our stay.”

“Cleanliness inside and outside was just okay. Pool was very dirty, even after cleaner came out. Location and neighborhood were nice. Management company run homes are difficult, in my opinion. You feel like more of a number then a valued guest that they hope will return. My advice: If staying with young kiddos this home is not ideal. One particular problem we had - The floor is not actually tile and becomes extremely slippery when wet, it is everywhere, and in master shower. Likely will not return for the price you pay and quality you receive.”

“House/property and location were fantastic, biggest issue was dealing with Vesteva on certain issues. They have way too many people/phone numbers to have to deal with issues that it can get very confusing. They allowed early check in and late check out but had to ask multiple times to finally be told I had to request it a day or two before, and one person dealing with the matter was overseas and so had to wait for time difference for a response back. Had a late check out and went out for lunch only to come back to the door lock being changed so couldn't get in, called and emailed the multiple phone numbers and emails they offer only to find a door I had never checked was unlocked the entire time of the stay and got inside, then someone finally called back. Overall the rental property was great, Vesteva would eventually get back to me with information which was good, but they don't know much about the properties they're renting out when it comes to whats included inside the property.”

“Our experience with this property was disappointing. Although the sunset views were incredible, we weren’t happy with a few important things to us . The air conditioning was not able to keep up with the heat outside . We are accustomed to a comfortable 72 and the ac didn’t go lower than 76. For that reason we weren’t able to use the master . The essential items for a home were so bare minimum we had to get cleaning supplies, bathroom toiletries , even the kitchen was frustrating to utilize the stove top . Make sure you read the extensive rules and instructions as well … not a fan”

“We loved our stay at this vacation house! It is truly a beautiful home. The pool area is second to none. My 17-year-old son spent most of the vacation on or in the pool. There are plenty of comfortable places to sit. We got a lot of use out of the hot tub. One night we sat at the large table on the lanai and played games. We also enjoyed the dock. The inside of the house was gorgeous. There were many useful appliances that we used. The furniture was comfortable. We loved the ice maker! We did have a few hiccups. First off, there was no garage door opener left for us. We had to park outside or send someone around to open the garage door. There was also no propane for the grill. We ended up using the tank from the main grill. We then had to unhook that and take it to the fire table, as the one there was empty. The information book said there would be an extra one in the garage, but we were unable to find that. Lastly, there was one bedroom that didn’t have a remote for the TV.”

“Our stay was disappointing overall despite a great location. While the home is centrally located with easy boat access and nearby amenities, major issues overshadowed the positives. The outdoor area had problems: a disassembled dock table was never fixed despite promises, furniture was rusted and flaking, and there was a significant ant infestation across the dock, yard, and pool area. Inside, conditions were worse. The house smelled musty and remained uncomfortably warm due to undisclosed AC restrictions (not below 74°F), making it hard to sleep. Several fans didn’t work, and although management said they’d send help, no one ever came. Cleanliness was lacking, with visible stains, hair in showers, and a dirty freezer/ice maker. Outdated plumbing requiring 1-ply toilet paper was also not disclosed in advance. Poor maintenance, lack of follow-through, and missing communication made the stay frustrating. We would not choose properties managed by Vesteva again.”

“owners a very cheap. one garbage bag for a stay of 8 days then told by owners go buy them we only gove one per check in. secondly instructions on what temperature you must keep the AC. I live in FL so I know that you cannot have the AC between 74 and 78 while the temperature outside during our stay was 84. the house has a musty smell due to nit having the AC on a proper temperature. there are blinds missing. its a shame because the house has potential if the owners would put a little TLC into it. owners should not be in this business if they cannot afford to have more than one garbage bag and f9r you to be able to put the temperature of the AC at the temperature you want without being warned that you may pay a dollar amount if you go over a certain amount of Kilowatt in electricity....this is ridiculous”
