Vacation Rentals Cape Coral
4.72Visit website
Vacation Rentals Cape Coral's guest rating of 4.72 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The house is great for a large group, it has adequate space. However the place needs some maintenence and more cleaning, there were broken locks on exterior doors, a doors that didnt shut properly, dishwashers not shutting properly, jets not working properly in the hottub. There was a noticeable smokey smell in the house that made us think maybe the previous owners smoked in it, for that reason I wouldn't reccomend it to families with kids - I would have chose a different house for that reason. If you are used to toiletries/amenities being stocked with an airbnb - this is not your place. (Im sure they disclosed this in the description but im just used to an airbnb being more well stocked) There was a small amount of toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent and some spices in the cabinet otherwise that was it, we needed to purchase coffee laundry detergent, ziploc bags, toilet paper, shampoos soaps etc. Overall we had a good stay and loved the pool, but would try somewhere else”airbnb

“Avoid -Check in was 82 Degrees AC not working Pool 6 inches low so it wasn't kicking heat/pump on They came out to fix both and asked us to put the hose away when it was filled (sure no problem). We showed them a tear in the lanai door screen and they never bothered to fix it. It got completely blown out during a storm during our stay so the insects were crazy -Pool table unusable -Had to use a pen to rig the control box on the boat lift -They don't supply the house with anything be prepared to shop -They charge for electric and won't provide a meter reading -They use the grill being dirty as a malicious charge ($100). We used it once and cleaned it better than before we got there along with the rest of the house. It's also old and greasy maybe buy a new $300 grill -They will harass you the whole time to come to the house to spy on you. Legally you need to stay off the property. It's all stuff that can be handled online -You will wait 10+ days for the deposit”airbnb

“The home and location were excellent; however, several issues negatively impacted our stay. Upon arrival, we found the coffee pot, as well as multiple pots, pans, and utensils, were not properly cleaned. The back patio television was also not working, and although we reported this to management, we received no follow-up. Two days later, two individuals entered the backyard unannounced to drop off a new television, which remained in the box for the rest of our stay. On another occasion, we returned to find the lanai screen door propped open without any notice. The lack of communication regarding these entries raised concerns about security and guest privacy. While the property itself was very nice, the cleanliness issues and, more importantly, the lack of communication from management were disappointing.”airbnb

“First the house and are was beautiful. The first time ever i was contacted to do a check in orientation. When Wanda arrived she was very pleasant, We showed her the cooktop glass was broken and the pool was dirty like maybe an animal relieved itself. Wanda took pictures of both and reported it to management. that was Friday morning the day after check in. The same day I got a txt that they requested the pool to be cleaned. Saturday no one showed up. Sunday I took a video and sent it to VRCC. They sent me a picture that the pool was cleaned Friday afternoon. I told Bjorn no one came to clean the pool and to look at my video i sent from Sunday morning. He asked what my wishes were for a resolution. I asked that they credit me for use of the pool and deduct the electricity cost of the pool off the bill. This is where it gets good. Bjorn said I never told him the pool wasn't swimmable and there would be no credit. The person Wanda took the pictures of the pool, requested it be cleaned.”airbnb

“Absolutely loved the house! Beautiful, peaceful and very clean. My only reservations are that the electric charge was not mentioned in the post and I don’t remember seeing the deposit amount prior to being charged. Also the deposit was not returned within a few days and without my contacting Bjorn multiple times.”airbnb

“We choose not to use the spa, and had to pay to keep it going. Short on dish washer soap, trash bags. If we were going to be back for next year, I would rent this again.”airbnb

“Beautiful house, but a premium price for a poorly maintained and mismanaged stay. Within 24 hours, multiple major issues surfaced: the pool and spa did not work or heat (a key Florida winter selling point), the master shower only partially functioned, the kitchen sink sprayer was broken, the retractable sun awning didn’t work, and the advertised whole-home and outdoor surround sound only played in the living room. The laundry room smelled strongly of sewage. The lanai and pool area were overrun with spiders, making the outdoor space unusable. After checkout, we were charged $550 for outdoor cushions that were already worn and deteriorating. Management claimed the color was “discontinued” and insisted the damage was caused by our dog, while also stating they conduct thorough inspections between guests — a claim that doesn’t align with the many unresolved issue This Management company is an absolute NO.”airbnb
