Utah's Best Vacation Rentals
4.70Visit website
Utah's Best Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.70 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The home was nice, spacious, and worked well for our large group. Even with a lot of people staying there, we never felt crowded, and there was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. That said, there were a few things that could be improved. The listing promotes the home as accommodating groups of up to 24 people, but there were not enough bath towels or kitchen utensils to comfortably accommodate a group that size. We also found that the pool could have been cleaner. Another issue was communication regarding one of the amenities. We requested the access code on Friday afternoon but did not receive it until Sunday, with checkout being Monday morning. Unfortunately, by the time we received the code, we had very little time left to actually enjoy that amenity. Overall, we enjoyed the spaciousness and layout of the home, but providing enough basic amenities for the maximum advertised occupancy, responding to requests in a timely manner, and keeping the pool cleaner would make”airbnb

“The place is not well maintained. There is ants everywhere, on the floor, counters, furniture, bedrooms and even in some beds. They said it was due to the construction, but we asked the neighbor next to us and they had no ants. We had to go buy ant killer, because it was so bad. The ac wasn’t working very well and we noticed how dirty the filters were, so we cleaned them and then it worked great. Some sheets were dirty and towels were crunchy like that hadn’t been washed. The pool passes to the place close by were expired by months. The carpet is disgusting and doesn’t look like it has been vacuumed and has stains everywhere. It could be a great place, but is not maintained or cleaned well.”airbnb

“While the property itself has potential, our experience was disappointing by broken amenities and poor property management. We paid a pricey rate after being assured a “5 star experience,” but the actual stay fell short. With temperatures over 100°F outside, we encountered significant issues with the AC units. The master bedroom AC was completely non-functional - which we were not notified about in advance - causing the room to stay at 80°F nightly. When we reached out for assistance, the communication from the management and maintenance team was unhelpful and defensive, rather than focused on solving the problem. Additionally, there were cleanliness and upkeep issues throughout. Between the communication issues, broken climate control, and lack of attention to basic maintenance, it did not live up to the promised experience.”airbnb

“We were very disappointed with this property. The house was not properly prepared for our arrival. There were cockroaches inside the house, and we have video evidence. This alone made our stay very unpleasant. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable—we even had to buy inflatable mattresses just to get some sleep. We also arrived expecting a baby crib, as advertised, but there wasn’t one, creating a major problem while traveling with a small child. In addition, there were no shampoos or an electric kettle upon arrival. Although these items were delivered later, the inconvenience had already affected our stay. The pool also looked very different from the listing photos. There was no pool lighting, and it did not match what was advertised. Overall, the property did not meet the expectations set by the listing. We spent valuable vacation time dealing with problems that should have been resolved before our arrival. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this property based on our experience”airbnb

“The place is beautiful and in a nice location. The rooms and beds were comfortable and orderly. However there are necessary maintenance needs. Broken and falling apart selves. Kitchen items in the wrong location or broken (toaster was broken). There were broken lamps and light switches that lead to nothing. We were most excited for the theater room, but it was difficult to get it to work. Not easy to use or connect to.”airbnb

“Great House, Terrible Management and Amenities We spent 5 days in St. George and had a wonderful time. Pros: Spacious: Plenty of room and indoor seating (table for 8, 4 barstools) for our group of 11. Location: Amazing proximity to Tuacahn and Snow Canyon. Kitchen: Well-stocked with a grill, blender, large crockpot, and electric griddle. Cons: Poor Management (Utah’s Best Vacation Rentals): We had to ask three times for basic bath towels and kitchen cloths starting Sunday; they only delivered them on Thursday after I threatened a negative review. Furthermore, the listing promised a trampoline (a main reason we booked), but there wasn't one. They promised a resolution regarding a partial refund three days ago but have gone silent. Disgusting Pool Area: The neighborhood pool was green and murky, the slide and splash pad didn't work, and the hot tub area was crawling with cockroaches. Dirty Exterior: The balcony, porch, and outdoor furniture were covered in thick red desert dust.”airbnb

“Parking is very limited. The place needs some fixing up. When we arrived the glass front door severely cracked. There are bleach stains on the carpet. The drywall/paint have some water damage in the front room. The outdoor furniture on the upper balcony is very torn and tattered. They want you use a 3rd party portal for some of the check-in info. The info on the airbnb is not correct (WiFi info is bad)”airbnb

“The house was clean and beautiful. The only complaint was with the pool. It was dirty and we could not get the hot tub to work. We asked for help but did not receive it. Other than this, our stay was wonderful.”airbnb

“Nice place, fun pools. Owned and operated by big corp. most messages were automated and the few human responses we got weren’t helpful. E.g. bathtub didn’t have a plug so we couldn’t bathe our 5 small children while staying there. Big deal on a pool vacay. They never were able to respond with anything other than “we reached out to maintenance”. Then we’d get another automated message saying please reach out Hope your stay is great. Also sketchy they email you with a third party contract. I’d advise not signing anything outside of the normal Airbnb system. The third party form wants your PII, credit card info, and you to sign a super long contract. Don’t do it.”airbnb

“We checked in and the lock wasnt working. Host took a while to respond while we waited outside. Then we get in, there is a dirty underwear on one of the beds left behind. Fennel seeds on the side of another bed, roaches in the house. We reach out to host and no response. There was no dishwasher detergent pod, no laundry pods, just 1 roll of bounty and 3 trash bags. Pam bottle empty, no oil, stains on towels provided. We had to go buy everything ourselves from Walmart. We let the host know that the jacuzzi was disgusting and dirty, they couldnt get it fixed till the 3rd day of our stay. Next night, we tried grilling on their grill and there were 3 empty gas tanks. No gas to cook. We message the host, and after an hour, they respond, please go and fill it up at Walmart yourself. They then do not want to provide any compensation or reimbursement for the worst Airbnb stay that I have ever stayed in. The hosts were the worst, never available, and generally never helpful.”airbnb
