Urbana
4.61
Urbana's guest rating of 4.61 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Horrible host! My place was not ready by check in, the cleaning lady was not even at the place when we arrived… they asked us to wait 30 minute, we did and even ate in the vehicle waiting for our place to be ready. After 1 hour in a half, place was not ready and cleaning ready was still “on her way” The host was really rude when communicating. Also, I had to pay to go to a hotel to get ready for a family event I had that day and ended up missing more than half the event.”airbnb

“The Airbnb did not meet basic cleanliness standards. There was mold in the washing machine, the bathroom sink and shower curtain were dirty, and the water filter in the fridge was not clean. Overall, it appeared the space had only been spot cleaned. The host said someone would clean the washing machine, but coordinating this was difficult, and the key wasn’t working, which made access complicated. While a full refund was provided, there was no apology for the inconvenience, and switching to another Airbnb was necessary. I would warn future guests to carefully review this bnb and photos before booking.”airbnb

“Restroom was full of hair left behind by either host themselves or previous renters. Hair left in every drawer in restroom and, the shower floor and wall. The kitchen was okay. It had all the things you need to cook from pans to utensils but, no napkins and very little soap to clean up. The kitchen was also left with oil residue on the kitchen cabinets and hair on kitchen cabinets as well. Lastly host needs to invest in a new outside door mat. Host instructions renter to retrieve key from under the mat. The mat itself has a big rip going straight down the middle. Would not recommend this place at all.”airbnb

“I would never stay here. I came with my 2 daughters that are 1 and 5 and I felt it was unsafe for my 1 year old to crawl around. The floors were not cleaned and they were a lot of sticky spots on the floor and dresser. The tearoom had hairs all over the sink and there was dust. I don’t think they even cleaned the place honestly. Also killed 2 roaches and saw a few more. I didn’t leave because I wasn’t feeling good to pack up otherwise I wouldn’t have to spend the night. I should have requested a full refund but only requested half of it.”airbnb

“I’m providing this feedback with the hope of helping to improve the experience. The response time to messages was over 12 hours, which caused some inconvenience. While there were a few minor issues, the biggest concern was the A/C – it was impossible to sleep without it, and the issue wasn’t addressed properly. When the A/C was finally repaired, an inexperienced technician was sent, and unfortunately, the problem wasn’t fixed. Additionally, the towels were old, the kitchen utensils were worn down, and the daily amenities provided were quite limited. The absence of photos showing the apartment's exterior is also misleading, as it may lead potential guests to believe it’s a better option than it actually is. Ultimately, due to these issues, we had to cancel our stay and move to another apartment, which turned out to be a much better experience overall.”airbnb

“The unit was not prepared at check-in. Trash cans were full, the sheets on the bed had not been changed, dirty towels were left on the bathroom sink, there were no clean towels available, and the floors and table were not clean. I contacted the host immediately. They said that there was an issue with the cleaning (not clear why) and that they were unable to send staff or provide an alternative unit, and suggested that I cancel the reservation myself. Because the unit was not usable, I had to contact Airbnb to resolve the situation and rebook elsewhere at the last minute, which took several hours. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this listing.”airbnb
