Up North Vacation Lodging

“Perfect space. Lots of room to spread out inside and out. Enjoyed doing puzzles that were on site. The view is amazing and dock is new. Boat launch is close by. The sandbars on the lake were fun to go hang out on too. A very relaxing week.”

“Nice place to stay in the North woods. This is a mobile home, but it was sufficient for our needs. Excellent home base for ATV/Fishing. Brings extra towels and blankets if you need more than 1 for each person. As the city people have noted, no cell service or wifi here - but that's a feature, not a bug.”

“It was a nostalgic “up north” cabin. It’s an older cabin but kept up nicely & was clean. Cute & cozy!”

“We stayed here this weekend and overall it was a beautiful home with lots of space and very accommodating. The lake view across the street was lovely, and the outdoor fire pit area was nice to enjoy during the day. However, the location was not ideal for families with young children. The home is directly next to a busy local bar, which was not disclosed in the listing, and I did not receive the correct address until after booking. The first night was very loud until around 2 AM. We also had neighbors walking through the yard and porch, dogs roaming through the yard, and bar patrons urinating in the nearby parking lot in front of our small children. This would be a great stay for adults wanting a bar within walking distance or groups without small children. The home itself was very nice, and we would consider staying again.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this nice little cabin. We enjoyed the deck and grill to enjoy our meals outside. The kayaks and canoe were great to have available. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities and stables. We only wish the dock was longer, as the water level was very shallow near shore. It made it difficult to fish right off the dock. The neighborhood was quiet but, only semi private.”

“Our second stay here did not meet the expectations left by our first stay. Our assigned POC was unresponsive via text, business line, or the airbnb messenger. I finally got ahold of Tim, after driving into town and going to the office on a Sunday to see if I could find any one else to call about the broken furnace. Tim was great. The company he works for needs to review its other staff. The house was dirty, the pinball machine was broken, the pool table was darn near unserviceable. There was a dead squirrel in the garage, and the drievway wasnt plowed out.”
