“Palm Cottage was absolutely adorable! It looked exactly like the pictures and included small details that really lifted the stay (ie. laundry detergent, coffee, soap, shampoo, etc.) It's the little things that make the difference! Location was great and very walkable.”

“The house is lovely and conveniently located, right near the beach. The bedrooms were clean and well maintained, with plenty of extra toilet paper available. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, and the pantry included a great selection of appliances, paper towels, and laundry detergent. There was one beach chair in the garage, but otherwise, you’ll need to bring or rent beach chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella, so it’s good to know that ahead of time. We had one issue during our stay, but the hosts addressed it immediately. They were very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. A few essentials, such as extra towels, were not provided, but overall, we had a very pleasant stay. There is also a cabinet in the living room on the kitchen level filled with games and books, which was a nice touch.”

“It was a nice place. It was a little dusty. We had a maintenance man show up and we didn’t know about it. The rooms were comfortable. The upstairs was a little hot compared to the mid level. The pool wasn’t super clean but got cleaned afterwards. The outside patio where the pool is could use some help because there were fake nails and hair bands thrown around and it was messy. The house was comfortable for the 8 of use and the dining room was great. Prepping and cutting knives were not sharp so I would suggest to bring your own if you can but the kitchen did have most of what was needed.”

“The location is very convenient. The house can definitely stand some work the yard/out door furniture was not the same as posted was not useable so my granddaughter wasn’t able to play outside due to upkeep. The floor in the hallway is settling about 2inches. If my mother had made the trip she would have had a hard time with it. The first night I was turning down the bed for my daughter and son and a brown recluse spider and at me I have photos. The water was lukewarm and the master shower head/handle needs to be replaced. There needs to be a closed cabinet for the cards/games and movies not very toddler friendly at all. Could really use a split unit for the porch area half the house was freezing while the other 1/2 was warm. On day 3 I removed the sheet from the master bed to find nasty yellow stains. Needles to say I did not remove any of the others.I called and spoke with Amy she was to call me back still waiting. I took before and after photos for reference of our stay.”

“The house in Tybee Island was very clean and in a nice location to access the beach. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out. We greatly appreciated the beach chairs and the two additional bikes in the garage. We had a great time with the family and the house was very comfortable to come home to.”

“The living room desperately needs a new couch and the grill needs to be cleaned and maintained. Other than that the stay was nice.”

“The house and the location were beautiful and perfect. No complaints about that. We had some issues with description (it wasn’t clear that it was two separate units until a later message from the rental company). There were very few basics (limited toilet paper, only 2 kitchen trash bags, NO cleaning supplies, no beach towels). One of the sofa beds was broken to the point of being unusable so one person had to sleep on a trundle mattress we found. The fridge took forever to keep things cold (there was a sign on it saying that would happen). We notified the company about issues we had and did get some extra trash bags but nothing else was correctable during our stay. On the day of checkout, the cleaning person showed up an hour and a half before checkout and just sat in the driveway watching us pack up and leave. Overall, it was a nice place to stay for our family. The issues were all with the management. Some small changes there would make a big difference.”

“Great stay and place was as advertised. Had a group of 12 with young kids along for the trip. Everything was used on our stay from the pool, full kitchen, pickle ball court, beach, poker table, legit pinball machine and outdoor grilling area. We assigned dinners throughout the stay to members of our family and the kitchen had everything to accommodate. Awesome stay for the family! Improvement areas for the stay. We booked over Memorial Day week but price was high compared to other weeks of the year and it felt like we paid above premium. Beach access is private but getting to it needs to be improved. It is a steep incline and decline. Steps need to be added to make it safe and fully accessible. Other houses had better accessibility. Paper towels and toilet paper were thin and cheap and I’m sure part of the management company’s inventory. With having several bikes on property and having them all locked up seemed a bit weird to me. Would be nice to have at least 4 of them available.”

“We had a great stay, impressed with the amenity’s. However, we continually struggled with communication, the response was extremely too long. We were unable to use the outside grill for four days as there was no propane. When asking for propane and pool service such as turning on the heater it took multiple messages to resolve. Our toddler was most displeased and impatient waiting for the heat of the pool. The overall breakdown in communication throughout the stay was a bit frustrating . The response team continually failed to inform us that we were not messaging the correct personnel to address our issues until the last two days. The overall stay was great. We would most likely return.”
