“We enjoyed our stay in Leadville and the house was what we needed...walkable to downtown (we were there for Boom Days and the burro races!), enough space for everyone, and a place to disconnect at the end of the day. We recommend the place for anyone needing lots of room to spread out, close to town, clean and comfortable!”

“Not good from start to finish- entered at 12:30 am with fire alarm chirping due to lack to maintenance inside and out. after 2 messages still No response from host for 7 hours causing very sleepless night. The place was not cleaned. Floors littered with debris- not swept or mopped, dirty cleaning rag left on bookshelf, dusty dirty surfaces in bathroom and laundry room. The lively backyard pictured in promo was ghetto not at all as pictured with partially collapsed fence with metal and wood trash on ground. Yard had weeds and high grass all around including hot tub area littered with dog toys , garden hose and previous users water toys. All this within 7 hours , and we were do grossed out we left after asking for refund and other accommodations. None offered , had to find motel . Host has refused to refund all our money , awaiting if AirBND will force them to be better. Never use this company and if AirBND doesn’t come through with all our $, will never use them again either.”

“We enjoyed our stay, and the unit was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The only issue we have was the check-in and check-out experience. Before arriving, I asked whether an early check-in of about 90 minutes might be possible. I was told I could reserve the previous night at a 50% discount, which gave the impression that the unit may have already been available but that there wasn’t much flexibility. Similarly, our check-out time was 10:00 a.m., and the cleaning staff knocked on our door at 9:58 a.m. I completely understand the need to keep a cleaning schedule and don’t expect hosts to always accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs. However, having someone knock before the official check-out time felt rushed and wasn’t something I’ve experienced at other Airbnbs. Aside from those “guest experience” concerns, the property itself was great, and we had an enjoyable stay.”

“Your futon was broken before we got there, it was noticeably bent. The half wall up the windy stairs is unstable. The bed post is loose. The sheets and comforters need washed. Pillows need replaced. Overall, the property was old and unkept.”
