“The property is breathtaking, and our group of 12 had a wonderful time together. However, finding a dead mouse in the downstairs living room upon arrival raised concerns about how thoroughly the entire home had been cleaned and inspected. The host sent someone to place two traps. Water pressure was very low, making meal preparation difficult and sometimes leaving us unable to flush the toilets. A maintenance worker explained that the well needed time to replenish. The flow had improved when he arrived, so no repairs were made, but the pressure dropped again after he left and remained very low for the rest of our stay. We appreciated the host’s response and enjoyed the beautiful setting, but hope the cleanliness and water issues are addressed.”

“I think overall it was okay. If I had to note anything there unfortunately was a lot of ants around the back and there wasn’t a step off the patio. That could be an issue for some with mobility issues. We did enjoy the pack man table that was cool and the fire pit. I think overall it was a good place to stay.”

“Deck boards on front porch rotting, side porch was leaning, screen doors ripped, trash in fire pit and driveway, flood lights not working, kitchen trashcan full of mold, ant infestation in kitchen and bathrooms, rug in living area very dirty, lamp shades broken and not remaining upright, inside of fridge damaged, a lot of the dishes had food stains/dirty, whole cabin had funky smell. Wish we would have paid a little more for a well kept place. It just felt very dirty.”

“The hot tub had issues. The touch screen to control the hot tub was not working. We could not get anyone to respond during off hours when we started using the hot tub.”

“Communicating was a bit difficult and the house needed a little tlc. Just a bit more dust and cobwebs than expected. My family loved the house, was very spacious for all 8 of us and had plenty of seating. Right off of the main road with lots to do and see. Stayed for 5 nights and would definitely stay again!”

“Floors were nasty & sticky, Spider webs, bad odor. Comforters looked old & stained. The porch & porch furniture was nasty and the hot tub had weeds growing on the outside of it. Was not what I expected, very disappointed 😪”

“The house was invested with mice they come out of the ac vents and walk and poop all over the beds and everywhere Beware we were kids and it was a complete nightmare wouldn’t recommend it to anyone”

“Breathtaking and peaceful views! It was perfect for our family reunion. Lots of room for people to hang out in small groups! The teens (and adults) loved the game room and theater room. However, the house needs maintenance. Most recliners in the theater were broken. The stairs to the lower gazebo were not stable enough for our whole family to take a picture. They have placed new handrails but lower structure is iffy, so we stayed on the upper porch. There was trash left in bathrooms, false eyelashes on the counter, and things left in drawers. The kitchen is a little tight when serving but we didn’t mind it. The outside was extremely overgrown. The outside trash receptacles were broken so bears had obviously gotten in and trash was strewn all around the property. We placed a hook to keep them shut during our stay. Parking is also very tight, but we made it work. Overall, the house was perfect for our reunion, it just needs maintenance and broken chairs either changed out or fixed.”

“We had a good time at the location because we were together. The proximity to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg was the only positive thing about the residence. There was no instruction on how to key in the code to enter. We guessed it. The home was very stuffy/dusty. The entire place looks as though no one has been in it for a while. Bring extra shoes for walking. The thing that was the worst was the stink bug infestation. I mean hundreds of them everywhere. The room upstairs we didnt even use because they were everywhere, the bed, the windows, walls.The upstairs windows entirely covered in them. Balcony outside the bedroom on main floor has a wasp problem; We didn't even use the jacuzzi. The pressure in all the faucets was terrible. The AC wasnt working properly.The house is in a very poor condition. ceilings downstair bedroom were rusted steel sheets with holes from which bugs came from. The home is being sold. So I can see why it would be like this. I don’t recommend, esp. with kids.”

“Overall extremely disappointed in this stay. I travel frequently and just wanted a simple weekend getaway in the mountains. Locating the correct unit was difficult after dark due to how small the lettering on the sign is. The property needs maintenance work and for the cost it should have been cleaner and in better condition. The first step to go up the porch needs repaired. Nails are sticking out of the side of it and it’s very loose. The second step up is not much better. At night the back porch has terrible lighting and there is rope lighting you can plug in with an extension cord running through the back door even though it doesn’t help. There was mouse poop in the master bedroom, a hole chewed through a blanket with a nest still in it, and you could see outside through the floor and walls. Someone spilled something previously and it wasn’t cleaned up prior to my stay. I took photos and I sent some to the company. I would not recommend staying at this location or with this company.”
