“This is a fantastic house to get away from crowds yet close enough to get to the coastal attractions. Many of our drives to the places we wanted to see was a 1.5 hour drive which we expected and was worth the peaceful location. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces especially watching stunning sunsets from the coastline. The house was more than spacious enough for our group that consisted of 3 adult couples. The house was stocked with more items such as soap than advertised. However we did need to replenish some paper products which was something that was noted in the description. All necessities were available and much more.”

“This was our first time to Maine and we’re so thankful we chose this place. It truly looked liked a postcard. Love the deck overlooking the water. The view is breathtaking, Stonington is a quaint little town with a wonderful coffee shop, a couple restaurants and lovely people. We loved that this was a central location to Bar Harbor, Acadia, Camden and to the airport in Banger.”

“As soon as we walked into West Cottage we were overwhelmed by the simple beauty of everything around us. The light and airy whitewashed interior displayed the charm of Down East Main coastal charm and cabin construction architecture. Looking out the bank of windows the quaint buildings, working harbor filled with all sorts of boats, and rugged granite outcrops delight the eye. It is a very short walk to the Operahouse where an unbelievable array of entertainment is offered, and just beyond lie delightful shops and restaurants. If you are here on Fridays don't miss the farmer's market. Local produce,cheeses, baked goods, and contact points for local entities of interest like the library and preservation groups enrich the experience of Stonington. Many fascinating little villages make for great day trips on Deer Isle and beyond. Checking out the small towns always provides exciting discoveries, for example the Maine Maritme Academy in Castine. Enjoy and explore! Stay at least a week”

“We stayed here for a week and had the most incredible stay. The houses and deck areas were beautiful and the views were amazing. The dock is great for swimming too! We rented kayaks and paddled around in the cove (highly recommend). Would definitely stay here again, one of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had!”

“Beautiful. Peaceful. Comfortable. Easy drive to Stonington and other places on the island. The house was beautifully designed with great windows and ample room to hang out. The loft bedroom isn’t as private but worked for us. The kitchen is well equipped and the laundry was a big help. We had trouble finding it at first but once we did it was really easy with a great drive to the house.”

“We've stayed at Piscean Path before and hope to stay again. We love hiking and Stonington and the surrounding area has several beautiful hikes in the 1-3 mile range. More challenging hiking can be found on Isle au Haut, a short boat ride away. We find the cottage surprisingly private despite there being two properties in close proximity. The view from the deck of the harbor ,and its multitude of lobster boats, can't be beat. A cozy cottage for two located within easy walking distance of downtown.”
