“Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. This was a newer rental with the amenities that you would want at the beach. Some things we noticed. 1. The primary bedroom had a king size bed that seems to be worn out and not comfortable for two people. We struggled to sleep comfortably. We slept in the other beds in order to find more comfort. 2. The hinge on the entry gate to the top porch was rusted out and broken. 3. While we were able to use the BBQ grill twice during our stay, it is definitely on its last legs and rusting out. Overall the house is very nice and we had a great time. Thanks!”

“The location was perfect! Just walk down the steps and you are on the beach. The area was not crowded and it was a quick drive to small grocery stores and a couple of restaurants, and 20 minutes to Lake Jackson for shopping and restaurants. The condo was as advertised and provided everything we needed for a good stay. Make sure to pack/purchase bug spray! The mosquitoes were horrible in the entire area.”

“The home would have been worth the cost but the furniture is dated and dirty, the tub and the sinks are not functioning properly. Bottom line the place needs maintenance and upgrades. Water was brown I could not tell if the house filtration had been changed if at all … dishes were rewatched before use bc of residue on all the dishes.”

“For a last minute trip, we received more than we expected. Beach was close, fishing pier was close, the home was clean and smelled good. We were able to share special memories with our sons for prom weekend. It was pretty amazing of the 979 crew to allow 1 extra guest for a couple hours (their mother) to share that moment with. Thank you so much!”

“Our stay was just okay. The house was clean, instructions were clear, and checkout was a bit much (requiring drive out trash removal). However, a few issues impacted our experience. After booking, we were asked to provide IDs and minors’ names, which wasn’t clearly disclosed upfront and felt intrusive (especially since Airbnb already verifies guests). The host allowed us to skip minors’ names but still required ID. Communication was good before check-in but dropped after. We asked about an EV charging outlet and didn’t get a response for nearly two days. The biggest issue was undisclosed construction next door. We were woken up at 8 AM by loud noise that shook the house. This was not mentioned beforehand, and responses were vague to this annoyance. Overall, while the home was clean, the experience lacked transparency and consistent communication. I would not book with a management company again.”
