“Great stay in Kings beach. Nice location, close to the lake. Good sized house for a large group. Game room is nice but lighting could be better. Some utensils can use updating but basic necessities are all met. Grill in the backyard can use a professional clean - we decided not to use it. Overall had an enjoyable stay with good company and at a nice location. The house meets all the basic needs.”

“Overall, we had a good stay here. The hosts were very professional, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process, which we really appreciated. The location was definitely one of the highlights, it was walkable to the beach and conveniently close to nearby spots around North Tahoe. The home itself was a bit darker than expected and could have felt a little fresher upon arrival, but nothing that completely ruined the trip. I think some minor improvements to presentation and cleanliness would make a big difference. The hosts were great, the check-in process was smooth, and the location made it easy to enjoy the area. With that said, for my personal preferences, I’d likely choose a brighter and more renovated cabin next time I’m in the area.”

“Had a great stay at this little cabin in Kings Beach. Got to walk to the little town every morning and enjoy the view of the Sierra Nevada mountains. I loved the easy walk and how comfortable the cabin was. If I ever had a question Stacy was quick to respond. Great place for a weekend getaway.”

“We love our stay at Stacey’s, it has a lot of beds good option for bigger family, there were 10 of us, the kids love it with the bunk beds. The place is clean has beautiful view and walkable to the lake which we love. Our friends who saw our pics even has asked where we stay. The host is very responsive and we appreciate the late check out. The only thing is we were excited for the pools but it was closed it will be open in may. It will be nice to stay in the summer.”

“Tl;dr Beware, likely bedbugs! Pros: Location, grill, stocked kitchen Cons: We received many bites all over our body after sleeping in the beds. One of us got bitten over 100 times on the arms, legs, and torso in clusters and lines of 3-5, as bed bugs bites usually manifest, and suffered from extreme itching and swelling. This was a terrible experience for us not only physically, but on top of the stress from trying to prevent them following us home, we were quite frustrated by the host’s response. After we reported this with pictures of the clusters of bites and letting Stacey we suspected bedbugs and were attempting to clean everything, her immediate response was denial— even saying that they can't survive in at higher altitudes (a quick search tells you they definitely can). Bedbugs are very resilient and can you follow you home, so please make sure the home has been properly treated before booking— there's a previous similar review where the host did not follow up with cleaning.”
