“Extremely disappointed with this stay and will be submitting this review. Although so much potential, this property kept disappointing at every turn. The private pool was a huge draw and reason we chose this property. Arrived late and didn’t get to appreciate the pool on the first night, but immediately upon arriving the first thing we noticed was that the pool deck was extremely dirty. First night, spent an hour washing and scrubbing the pool deck to ensure no one slipped. Next day, the pool was dirty… spent another hour skimming the pool before jumping in. Bunch of pool floaties on the side, but some with major holes and unusable. Inside- weird but you are on display. No window coverings, so everyone walking by can look in and see into the living spaces. Only the bedrooms had window coverings, so sitting in the kitchen or living room you have an audience on the street. Also inside… outdated and worn. Just not what you are expecting for the price per night. At this rate yo”

“We loved the location!!! A great beach and walkable to lots of fun, including shopping, dining and trails. Felt peaceful and private, even during sunny, busy June. Condo was a bit worn and dated in places, but overall was a great place to stay and we’d stay again!”

“In a great area. A little hard to find the room at night. Good for 2 people or a couple and 2 smaller kids. Very close to restaurants and shops! Clean beach”

“The AC unit in the 2nd bedroom needs to be completely replaced. We asked for it to be repaired, which we think they attempted to repair but it still didn’t work. It was unbearable to sleep in that room with a non-working AC unit. We had to sleep on the couch and ended up buying an air mattress to put in the living room.”

“Overall, the stay was okay, but honestly, it was not as comfortable as we expected. We stayed for 4 or 5 days, and we were missing a few basic things. For example, there were only two dishwasher tablets, which is very little for that length of stay. There were also only two laundry detergent tablets, even though we did laundry every day, so that was not enough either. Another thing: at first, we could not find any extra trash bags. Later, it turned out that they were under the trash bin, but that was not obvious and was quite unexpected. Overall, the place is not bad, but because of these small everyday details, the experience felt average. I think it would be helpful for future guests to leave more basic supplies and make it clearer where things are located.”

“We stayed for four nights and loved the location. It was an easy walk to the beach along a greenway path, and we could also walk to several great places to eat. The home was beautifully decorated and fully stocked for cooking, and we especially appreciated the beach chairs and wagon—they made our beach days so much easier.”

“Great place friendly community”

“Overall the rental was fine. Clean & comfortable. 1) Somehow we were given the wrong address. 2) The house numbers are extremely small and not lite for people arriving after dark (a big no no). 3) Having a coffee maker and no "fixings" to use it, is unforgivable. We got there at 10:30 at night, no other place that I have rented did not supply "fixings" for a batch or two of coffee the first morning. The expense is minimal, the inconvenience for the renter is very maximum. Inconsiderate enough so I would probably look elsewhere if I were to return to H/H.”
