Sunriver Resort
4.71Visit website
Sunriver Resort's guest rating of 4.71 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Nice, quiet neighborhood with deer visiting in the evenings. Easy access to bike path and general store. It was a little confusing about resort access to facilities. This is under Sunriver Resorts, so the pool access is The Cove and the pickleball courts are the ones by the Lodge.”airbnb

“To start off vacation, we had difficulty getting into the house and had to wait outside for 20 minutes while the locks reset. Once inside, we noticed that the floors were extremely dirty—walking around barefoot left our feet completely black. The dishwasher was also broken, and we had to scoop water out of the bottom to prevent it from leaking onto the floor. To make matters worse, the smoke detectors went off in the middle of the night. An employee from Sunriver was unable to shut off the alarm, so the fire department had to be called. The firefighter determined the detector was faulty. It took an hour before the alarm was finally turned off. I contacted the rental company, and a lady named Mary apologized for the issues and said we would receive a partial refund for the cleaning fee. We never received a refund. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Given the cleanliness issues, broken appliances, and problems with the smoke detector, I would not recommend this property.”airbnb

“The house is in a perfect location, very very clean and looks exactly like the pictures. It should be noted that the address they give you is not the address on the house. We drove around in circles and no one responded to me so we finally just walked up to the house we thought it was and put in the code and it worked. Also, The bikes provided are absolutely awful. For Sunriver this is a must have. Either the chains were off or the seats wouldn’t adjust etc. we were very disappointed. Overall, we had a great stay and would totally stay here again.”airbnb

“Make sure you arrive when the front desk is open otherwise later than that and you will certainly run into challenges getting in. The check instructions missed the secured gate code and the WiFi password was not correct. So I was unable to wrap up work and it spilled into my first day of vacation. Tip: get out and explore the property on foot so much to see! Hit the Food Cart pod in Sun River 5 mins drive from the property. 5 stars for location 2 stars on the check in. For the price you should of had your personal concierge”airbnb

“The property was very spacious but some things didn’t work-TVs in several rooms, ice makers in both refrigerators, the upstairs coffeemaker, etc. The dining table needs some refinish work as well. For the price of this property, we were dissatisfied with the above items noted not being operable.”airbnb

“Two oversize primary suites. Lots of steps/stairs - not ideal for small children or someone with mobility challenges. One bathroom upstairs and one downstairs. Easy in and out. Parking near unit. Laundry is upstairs - was efficient. Lots of extra linens in the closets. Dishwasher didn’t work (which was fine until check out as we didn’t use the kitchen much). Other minor maintenance issues were communicated to the host - as well as parking issues. Request were acknowledged but not resolved during our stay (including a car that was improperly parked our entire stay - preventing us from parking closer to the unit making loading/unloading more challenging)”airbnb

“We loved this cabin. Great location and the fact that we had access to The Cove made it even better. The only complaints I have is the beds are not very comfortable, and 3 out of the 6 bikes were broken. I reached out to the Sunriver front desk about that but they were not helpful so my husband runner to the hardware store and bought some tiles and fixed 2 of them so my kids could use them. But other that that we had a great time and would love to come back to Sunriver resort again.”airbnb

“It was overall a good experience. The communication was a little weird, however. I received no info through the airbnb app, so the other members of my party weren’t able to get any information. I received an email with the entry code, but then the house rules came through text. A single source would have been easier.”airbnb

“Nice place. Be aware that the listing does not state that a studio is attached to the house and could have other potential visitors. No chairs outside, which made making s’mores tough. The listing states 2 car garage; however, it was locked and the resort was not helpful when asked. May have been where the outdoor chairs were.”airbnb

“We wouldn't stay here again. For the price, the home is outdated. The oven took forever to warm up. The beds were not comfortable at all. We arrived with the trash overflowing. We had animal hair all over the master bedroom sheets.”airbnb
