“We absolutely LOVED this cabin and would definitely stay again! ❤️ It was just as described and perfect for our week on the lake. The private dock was a huge plus for our boat, and we loved the shaded deck, grill, hot tub, and beautiful location. A few things could use attention. The outside lights shut off at 11 PM, which wasn’t ideal for us night owls. The upstairs bed frame gave way our first night, but thankfully we just moved downstairs and didn’t let it bother us. The deck was very slippery after rain, the fireplace lights flickered, and there were quite a few cobwebs. We also couldn’t find chlorine for the hot tub, and despite following the rules, it became cloudy by our last night. None of this ruined our stay. We had an AMAZING week, made wonderful memories, and would absolutely come back! ❤️”

“Great rental in a beautiful location / area. I have a group that we come here annually for this stay. The river access is really nice. I’d suggest having someone drop you off at dillsboro river company, from there it’s an about ~2 hour float back to the house with mostly small rapids. My only warning is to be ready for the gravel drive in. It can feel a bit challenging in small cars, but we have never had any issues. I’d highly recommend this stay and everything is as described.”

“We said here for a wedding we were attending at Chimney Pond Farms! Great location being only 5 minuets from this venue. The cabin was cute a cozy! Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area for a wedding as well or just visiting!”

“We had two 14yr old boys with us. Basement was PERFECT to entertain them & give everyone their own space. My husband & I spent every free minute on the covered porch (even through thunderstorms). Great view!”

“This cabin is beautiful both inside and outside. The cabin is spacious and not far from Western Carolina University. We dropped our daughter off at WCU and stayed several days before heading home. We will definitely stay here again when we visit our daughter.”

“The house was as described. Perfect our family vacation. Just could use more cooking dishes if you are planning on cooking like we did. We made what we had work. We would stay again if we were staying in the area.”

“We chose this place for proximity to a wedding venue, and it was great for that reason. But when we arrived, there were several dead bugs throughout the cabin that I think should have been swept up prior to arrival as well as some small things missed in cleaning - sticker on the dresser, etc. The biggest frustration for us that the cabin didn’t have central AC, just a portable unit in the living room. It was not on when we arrived, and the cabin was 85 degrees. We were traveling with a toddler and came in when it was time for his bath and bed, so this was less than ideal. It took a few hours to cool down and we had to keep all the doors open to cool the room our toddler was staying in since the unit was in the living room. I also didn’t love that I had to provide my email address and communication was outside of Airbnb.”
