“Nice surroundings and value for the price. We enjoyed comfortable living areas and beds. Very clean and full kitchen for cooking. Downside was proximity to shooting range noise but fortunately not on Sunday.”

“Our family thoroughly enjoyed our getaway to the beautiful mountains of North Carolina! This wooded retreat offers the perfect combination of privacy and seclusion while still being conveniently close to restaurants and shopping. It was a wonderful place to slow down, spend time together, cook meals, play games, and simply enjoy nature. The night sky was so full of stars; it was beautiful. Some of the best moments were the conversations around the fire pit or while soaking in the hot tub. My grandson loves to say, “Papaw, we’re making memories!” And he’s right. Making memories together is one of the greatest gifts we can give each other. This peaceful mountain retreat provided the perfect setting to do just that. A little practical advice: Bring a few extra towels, K-cups, and your favorite snacks. Everything else is ready for you! We came for a mountain getaway and left with memories we’ll treasure for years to come.”

“The house was in a gated community which we were aware of, but they didn't tell us we had to pay 30.00 a day to the community on top of the steep price for the house. The house was fine, not as clean as some we have stayed in. The walkway going into the house is very hazardous though. Nice porches and views.”

“The cabin was nice and overall we had a good stay. The property was as expected and worked well for our trip. The one significant drawback for us was that the beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable. If you like firm beds, this place is perfect for you. Otherwise, we enjoyed our time at the cabin.”

“We chose this place for proximity to a wedding venue, and it was great for that reason. But when we arrived, there were several dead bugs throughout the cabin that I think should have been swept up prior to arrival as well as some small things missed in cleaning - sticker on the dresser, etc. The biggest frustration for us that the cabin didn’t have central AC, just a portable unit in the living room. It was not on when we arrived, and the cabin was 85 degrees. We were traveling with a toddler and came in when it was time for his bath and bed, so this was less than ideal. It took a few hours to cool down and we had to keep all the doors open to cool the room our toddler was staying in since the unit was in the living room. I also didn’t love that I had to provide my email address and communication was outside of Airbnb.”
