“Super clean. Brand new/pristine towels and sheets. As described, this is a “duplex style” house. It is two separate units joined by a steep staircase with a locking door. When I checked in, the door between the units was locked— I didn’t know that the locked door was access to the 2nd half of the house (it was a small door and looked like a locked closet to me). I had to access the upstairs unit via an outdoor staircase and second exterior door. That didn’t feel much like a “house” to me— it feels like two, very separate, units. This set-up would be perfect for two families or even two generations who want their privacy. We were a group of 6 college friends who wanted to hang out, so this set-up was challenging for us. Both sets of stairs are VERY steep. The largest bedroom is in the basement and there is not a bathroom on that level— to access the bathroom from that bedroom, a guest has to ascend a very steep set of stairs, walk through the kitchen, dining room and living room. “Great location, very clean, and really good location to walk to downtown. Hot tub was an added plus and easy to operate.”

“We had an amazing stay! This house was perfect for our group of 6. It was nice that everyone had a room. It was spacious for 6 people, great location walking distance to downtown and campus, and clean! Only comment is that the bathroom upstairs is incredibly small, it only fits one person at a time and there are only two bathrooms in the house.”

“It’s too expensive and the parking spot needs to covered. I can’t opened the my car door because of birds popping. They did it everywhere on my car.”

“The place is near the Michigan Stadium and supermarkets like Whole Foods and Bustch’s. Easy to reach the downtown and university. The only thing is the place is on the west stadium Boulevard, which is a bit noisy.”

“This was an okay stay for what we needed. We were in town for a concert so we were really only there to sleep and get ready each morning. The apartment is much smaller than how the photos look online - especially the bathroom. We had 4 people staying here and I can't imagine if the 6 person maximum was trying to use that tiny bathroom. There were also quite a few ants in the house. The beds were comfortable, but the noise level from the apartment below was excessive, especially at 4am the first night... The location was also less then ideal. It's a bit of a walk along a busy road to get to downtown and the campus. Lastly, the instructions for finding the place were only helpful for the daytime. Trying to find the home and use the stairs at night was difficult with no exterior lights. We paid a lot for this Airbnb and I'm guessing it's because the concert weekend caused an increase in prices across the board. So based off how much we paid, I'd say we were disappointed with the product.”

“Very beautiful interior just as the pictures! Me and my family wanted to stay the full 7 days but we hardly stayed there because my baby was fussy and we could not sleep in that house. Whoever died in that house is not at peace at all so we couldn’t be at peace. Spirits are visible to young babies and she wouldn’t leave my child alone. No matter how cold the AC would be I got chills to the point I’m sweating out my sleep and I would wake up in a bed full of ants. There was no food in the rooms. My husband had a much worse experience but I won’t be able to fit it all in the review. Hence, we couldn’t stay there for the full week. If it was me and my husband in the house we could’ve deal with it just not once it comes to our child. I didn’t reach out to the host because it’s not something they can call someone to fix. They need a priest to come there so they can get her out so she can be at peace. As I said, it’s just as beautiful as it was described, but I would never book again!”
