“This place was so charming and had some of the best views of anywhere I’ve stayed before. The house itself was spacious with lots of beds and all necessary amenities to be comfortable. The house was secluded but only a short drive to stores and restaurants. The hosts were so responsive and kind. I highly recommend this stay!”

“Really unique place with a great ocean view. Great place to sit outside and enjoy the ocean breeze. Cabin was comfortable and very clean! The airstream was a really cool addition to the space, but could maybe use a bit of freshening up. Most importantly the hosts were super quick to respond when we ran into a water issue - showed up quickly, in person, and took care of things right away. Shows that they care about the place and manage it themselves. Definitely a unique place to stay in a good location. We enjoyed it very much!”

“This is a sweet little cottage in a beautiful setting--great for a couple or family with a young child--and conveniently located near Trinidad. The grounds are well maintained--lots of gorgeous wild flowers everywhere--and there are multiple places on the property to enjoy the outdoors, including one with a view of the ocean. The charming cottage had everything we needed, and we loved ending the day in the cozy hot tub, watching the fog roll in in the distance. We highly recommend staying here and would gladly return. The Stay at Redwoods team was also very responsive when we had a question.”

“The home in Samoa was very nice and the backyard was huge! The furnishings were quite comfortable and kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was too chilly for us to use the hot tub but certainly was inviting! We were close to Eureka, which had plenty of places to eat and shop. My only suggestion is maybe have an extra key to the house, since there are two bedrooms and not everyone goes out to the same place or time and it’s kind of weird to have to put the key back in the lockbox, when this occurs. Otherwise, fabulous place and very help management people.”

“We had a great stay in this cute little studio with a kitchenette. There's a little table in the corner, a love seat and a couple chairs outside. The bathroom is stunning, but definitely for the able bodied. There's a couple steps up, and then a big step into the deep soaking tub. We didn't use it as a tub, but it would have had water up to my neck! We're both smallish and found this is squarely a one person shower. There are skylights throughout, all of which have electric blinds. There's a hot plate in the kitchen, a microwave, coffee pot--and, as a coffee drinker I was so excited to see they included a small coffee grinder and fresh beans! The coffee was delicious. The driveway is on the steep side, but the parking area is flat. There is very limited cell service out here, so learn from my mistake--save the check-in instructions because you might not be able to get to them (there is wifi). The hosts were wonderful, though, and very responsive. We'd book this very clean rental again!”

“The loft is a great space! Bed is comfy, on the firmer side, and kitchen is big enough to cook decent meals for two people regularly. Deck was the best part! So pretty sitting out there and working. Yard was also lovely, great space for our dog to explore and run around. Amenities are also really nice--sauna, bikes, hot tub. I will note for future guests that there is no door separating the bedroom from the kitchen/livingroom. This was only a small issue for us as we were both partially working remote and taking meetings. Check out time (10am) was pretty early and it's not flexible unless you pay for a late checkout. Property manager and owner were all very nice.”
