“We liked our stay in this apartment hosted by Stay Aloha. We had one issue with a broken bathroom window that let flies and bugs inside the bathroom. They were everywhere on the walls in the entire bathroom. It was dirty and disgusting. We addressed the issue to the management on 2nd day and they were responding in a timely manner but nothing was done to repair the broken window and dead bugs on the walls while we were staying for 6 days. They said they will send the cleaning crew but it was on the last day of our stay. The bathroom was hot and smelly because we couldn’t keep the window opened. It was dirty, but also not safe. The broken window is facing a toilet. If the window opens and falls onto whoever using toilet, it could have caused injuries, too. How they handle this situation was very frustrating. Otherwise, it would have been really nice and perfect vacation.”airbnb

“This condo was perfect for our first trip to Maui. The view was beautiful, the condo was peaceful and quiet. When we arrived, we had a very minor plumbing issue and the host sent someone out that afternoon to fix it. We definitely plan to stay here again on our next trip.”airbnb

“The building and the location are beautiful. The room was spacious and great. We would stay in this building again. I would have liked to give 5 stars, but on out first day communication with the host was spotty. We had a couple of issues that needed resolved quickly, but it felt like we were talking to a robot and that the issues were unimportant. We had a request to change the door code after these issues and never heard back about it. The host even suggested that if we weren happy (this is day one) that we should contact Air BnB so they could help us find a new place. It is also the first Air BnB that we have stayed in that didnt even have salt. We really liked the room once settled. If they stocked the kitchen a little better and the Host did a better job of communicating and "caring" we would stay here again.”airbnb

“Our stay was seriously affected by a mosquito problem, a broken balcony door, and poor communication. There were many mosquitoes inside the house, and everyone was bitten multiple times. Some bites became swollen and made the stay very uncomfortable. We noticed the balcony door did not fully close or lock, which likely allowed mosquitoes to enter. The mosquito traps were already full and old, so they were not helpful. I contacted the host, explained the issue, and sent photos/videos showing the mosquitoes, the broken door, and even the temporary solution I had to create myself using a bowl of water to catch them. Unfortunately, the host did not directly respond or offer any solution. The next morning, I only received an automated message about general house rules and what not to do, with no acknowledgment of our issue. We felt ignored, and this negatively affected our vacation.”airbnb

“Great location! Provided cooler, chairs and umbrella which come in very handy!! Could use a freshen up - dust and dirt under a lot of surfaces, shower chair was slimy. Had dishwasher repaired during our stay and they credited us - they left a mess, backfill in sink, trash on floor and random towels. You will hear everyone outside the room & AC is not the greatest but we would turn on when we walked to dinner and it would cool down by the time we got back. Slow response 2-3 days for us. For the price definitely a great option!”airbnb
