“The place was awesome. If you like watching sunsets and sunrise this room is perfect 901. . Plus it’s on the beach like a 3 minute walk. 3 balconies! I really enjoyed this place so much. “The stay was overall good, but the first impression was not the best. The pictures felt somewhat deceiving compared to the actual condition of the property, and we were taken aback upon arrival due to clutter in the garage, broken tiles around the pool, mold, and unkempt grounds. A few practical things would have also improved the stay- there were not many trash bags provided for a house accommodating a group, and it would have been extremely helpful to have a welcome guide or instructions for things like operating the televisions and locking the patio door. That said, once inside, we felt much better. The home was very spacious, the beach proximity was amazing, and the top-floor steam shower was absolutely life-changing. With a few updates and better upkeep, this property has great potential.”airbnb

“If you're sensitive to black mold or you expect non-hazardous bathrooms, don’t book. Mold is growing in all the bathrooms. The owner, William Greenwood/SPI Rentals, hasn’t maintained the grout in the shower/tub areas. It’s cracked/missing altogether and mold is growing between the tiles. We notified SPI and asked if they had availability in another rental, even if we had to downgrade or we’d pay for an upgrade. SPI had someone take pictures and they responded by saying it’s mildew and no availability elsewhere. The black is mold. It’s not easy to remove, and requires remediation. In some areas they've tried to cover the mold with new grout, but it’s not successful. I was sick from mold exposure the entire trip. Because we couldn’t move we asked for compensation. SPI responded the day we left by crediting 204.75 of the 3,848.12. It’s not ethical to be renting until the mold cleared. It ruined the vacation we were excited for and they showed no concern and they're still renting”airbnb

“I stayed at this Airbnb recently, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. From the moment I arrived, there was a strong, unpleasant odor throughout the space that didn’t go away during my stay. It made it difficult to feel comfortable or relaxed. Even more concerning was the number of cockroaches I encountered. I saw several in different areas of the property, including the kitchen and bathroom, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. This was not only unsettling but also unacceptable for a place that is being rented to guests. Overall, the condition of the property did not match the expectations set by the listing. I would strongly recommend that the host address these issues. particularly pest control and proper cleaning—before hosting future guests. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again.I do have videos and pictures if you would like a confirmation of what I said.”airbnb

“I’ve never left a negative review and have traveled all over the world. The security team at this complex is bad. This is 2 hotels right next to each other and we are allowed to use both. There is a small partition that my 4 year old climbed over and got berated and harassed by security. Even after we apologized and told security I would take my child to the room and come back down to speak with them, they continued to let me and my 4 year old know how we broke their rules. I brought my kid to the room crying and came down for a conversation. They let me know they were contacting the property management company to let them know what we did. We are not bad people. We are not hoodlums. It was my spouse and 2 children. If it’s such a problem then post a sign. Have some decency and do not scream at a 4 year old multiple times even after you made your point and we told you we were unaware. Go search on Google Maps and look at the reviews of security here.
