“First off, this area is heavy with traffic during fall tourist season. We didn't know that untill we were stuck in it for an hour plus. Yes the road is a switch back up a hill but it's paved and our Rav had no issues. Parking is limited space. Our stay wasn't as special as I hoped but we were able to get the propane refilled and grill out. I was miniually dissapointed the corn hole game in pic was not an included ammentity. There were cobwebs in the bathroom but other than that the place was clean. The back porch needed lights. Christmas lights didn't work. We enjoyed the hot tub and still sat on the deck most nights. Lastly the beds were uncomfy, we had to sleep seperatly. I in no way am complaining about the cabin. We enjoyed our stay and were greatfull for all that was provided including dishwasher and laundry. Ac was good and hot water worked.”

“One of the most disappointing Airbnb stays I’ve had. The cabin had numerous issues that significantly impacted our stay and should have been addressed long before guests arrived. Multiple doors were defective: the downstairs bedroom door and upstairs bedroom door would not lock, the main-level bedroom door would not latch properly, and the bathroom door would not lock properly. The roof leaked, the refrigerator leaked, the main-level ceiling fan wobbled and made loud noise, and the main-floor closet light didn’t work. On top of the maintenance problems, the cabin was dirty, and there was mold in one of the closets, which is unacceptable. After reporting these issues, the property owner showed up at the cabin without giving us any advance notice to inspect them. That unexpected visit made us feel our privacy wasn’t respected. For the price we paid, we expected a clean, safe, and well-maintained place to stay. I cannot recommend this property unless these issues are thoroughly addressed.”

“Easy to get in, and lots of space! There were some broken chairs, hot tub could only handle two people or it wouldn’t work, so as the mom I never got in so my kids could enjoy it. There were also mice. I did love the amount of space for the money, and the privacy of the property. There were plenty of dishes and pots and pans for the amount of people, but there was no salt, pepper, or oil as states in the description so bring your own!”

“The cabin that we rented had no running water when we arrived. After driving 9 hours to get there and it being a hundred degrees outside, a nice shower was sounding really nice. We did not arrive until 9:00 that night. After calling and having the owner tinker with the well pump it was going on midnight. We were given another cabin to stay in. We had to repack the belongings everyone got out and the kids that were just happy to be out of the car. Drive 30 minutes to a cabin that was a bit smaller and did not have the view we paid for. It did have the same amenities. We enjoyed Tennessee very much but I wasn't totally pleased that we didn't get what we originally paid for.”

“Really cute cabin that was is a good location, just be advised requires driving up a steep road with a sharp bend. Could use some updates such as loose toilet paper holders, walls that need patch/paint ect. All in all, we enjoyed the stay just were a bit disappointed there were visible cobwebs, a missing TV remote & that the grill featured in the listing was rusted with an empty propane tank making it unusable. Completely understand things happen but we specifically booked the cabin to have a grill for 4th of July weekend & felt that given the price all amenities should’ve been usable or at least a notice be provided prior to booking. Could easily be a 5 star stay with a bit of TLC.”

“There wasn’t anything terribly about this air BNB, but it is part of a rental company- and not an individual and I could tell when I compare it to other air BNB’s who are ran by an individual versus a rental company. I felt like for the price that was paid, they could have supplied more amenities. To be fair- it is clearly stated in the description, but I really thought salt and pepper would be something that is just standard. 1 roll of TP per bathroom and they were not joking. Very minimal towels etc. I love the eagle crest location- but this particular road is nearly impossible to make it to the pool with an extra large SUV- especially the way back. The turn is extremely sharp and I ended up getting stuck. My husband had to walk to me and get me unstuck. And the walk up to the pool is nearly vertical so if you aren’t in amazing shape- I do not recommend it. The place was also not very clean. The bedding had been changed, but the floors made my white socks turn almost black.”

“The stay was okay overall. There were a few cleanliness issues that could use attention. The shower curtains were pink, there was hair on the bathroom floor, and some tinsel—possibly left over from Christmas—was still on the bedroom floor. In one bedroom, a hole had been drilled for a TV installation, and the sawdust had not been cleaned up. Looked to be a quick clean with these things overlooked. My expectations on cleanliness are high when it comes to renting a place. The kitchen had the basic essentials, although there were no cereal bowls available. On the positive side, the beds were very comfortable, and the location worked well for us. It was easy to access Highway 66, Winnfield Dunn, while still being tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, making for a peaceful stay.”

“The house was overall great. It worked well for our large family and the hot tub on the porch was excellent after long days of sightseeing and hiking. I was a bit disappointed at the lack of bedding for the trundle bed and extra twin bed. There were extra sheets for those, but no blankets for the kids to use. Also, the pools were advertised in the listing and when we arrived and it was 80 degrees we found out that the pools didn’t open until May. That was pretty disappointing for the kids since it was one of the amenities we wanted when choosing a cabin. Overall it was mostly clean. I personally clean Airbnbs for a living and was a little put off by all the cobwebs in corners, dust and hair on baseboards and door hinges and some stains on walls, but for the most part the rest of it looked good. The beds were comfortable and the porch was great to sit out on. Overall I would recommend!”

“So, the mess has started from 1st day. We arrived at address that is specified on the AirBnb, however the real address of house - is 35min away to drive. We have to come back. Upon arrival it was too late and dark. We didnt see anything. Next day we noticed that there were a lot of trash, packaging from some food behind and under the bad, in corners. Plates and cups was not clean. We have to wash them before making breakfast. After we went out for walking and upon arrival decided to get some rest in hot tub - unfortunately its also was not cleaned. The seats and floor were covered in gritty calcium scale, giving it a sandpaper feel. It was unpleasant to use and definitely needs a deep scrub and better chemical balance. Lights - it was not enough lights inside. Main light was not working, table lamp - also didnt work. We were using our personal lights - that was ridiculous. That house needs some love and maintenance for 100% sure.”
