Smoky Mountain Dream Vacations

Smoky Mountain Dream Vacations's guest rating of 4.77 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Overall, the place was great and we loved our stay. Being close to Gatlinburg and the National Park was perfect for us. The view, main living space, hot tub, and beds were wonderful. The house could use some updating in some areas, like the bathrooms, appliances, towels…etc. A couple things to note: 1. the back deck is not completely safe for young kids. We have a toddler and she could have definitely fit through the posts on the railing. 2. the roads to get up to the cabin are very steep and curvy - just FYI if you don’t have a powerful car. However, the driveway to the house is mostly level. 3. there were bears wandering around the property and driveway multiple times during our stay. Keep an eye out! We had an awesome time and we really enjoyed the cabin

Very good cabin. Very clean and nice home with plenty of space and amenities. Parking was a little limited and in a tricky area if multiple cars are nearby but still fairly accessible.

There wasn’t anything terribly about this air BNB, but it is part of a rental company- and not an individual and I could tell when I compare it to other air BNB’s who are ran by an individual versus a rental company. I felt like for the price that was paid, they could have supplied more amenities. To be fair- it is clearly stated in the description, but I really thought salt and pepper would be something that is just standard. 1 roll of TP per bathroom and they were not joking. Very minimal towels etc. I love the eagle crest location- but this particular road is nearly impossible to make it to the pool with an extra large SUV- especially the way back. The turn is extremely sharp and I ended up getting stuck. My husband had to walk to me and get me unstuck. And the walk up to the pool is nearly vertical so if you aren’t in amazing shape- I do not recommend it. The place was also not very clean. The bedding had been changed, but the floors made my white socks turn almost black.

Overall pleasant experience. House was a pictured. Nice and cool in the basement. The stairs are a bit tight but there is exterior access through the main bedroom. Hot tub was a nice addition. Neighbors can be a bit noisy at times. And driveway requires some learning curve since one side is closed. We did enjoy our stay and would do so again.

The WiFi would stop working many times a day, the flooring is coming apart in multiple spots, the deck spindles in between the railings are loose and able to be separated making it unsafe for children to be on the deck. The hot tub dripped constantly onto the sitting area of the deck below. I will say they did offer to take care of these issues during our stay but still an inconvenience nonetheless.

The stay was okay overall. There were a few cleanliness issues that could use attention. The shower curtains were pink, there was hair on the bathroom floor, and some tinsel—possibly left over from Christmas—was still on the bedroom floor. In one bedroom, a hole had been drilled for a TV installation, and the sawdust had not been cleaned up. Looked to be a quick clean with these things overlooked. My expectations on cleanliness are high when it comes to renting a place. The kitchen had the basic essentials, although there were no cereal bowls available. On the positive side, the beds were very comfortable, and the location worked well for us. It was easy to access Highway 66, Winnfield Dunn, while still being tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, making for a peaceful stay.

3/5 stars Cute place to stay, no huge complaints but beware that the walls are paper thin and it was very loud even late at night with other people coming and going. it definitely could’ve been cleaner (there were many dead/ alive bugs) and could use a good dusting. Main bathroom fan worked intermittently. Secondary shower stained. The big highlight was definitely the view and the pools, the indoor pool was perfect when it rained! Saw a few bears!!

You are encouraged to use written directions via pdf because of GPS issues/inaccuracy but those directions cost us 45 mins. I would encourage you to ask which GPS may cause issues because Google maps worked fine for us and our friends. We missed out on earlier check in

A couple of life safety issues. 1. Theres exposed NM cable behind the foosball table. Against the National Electrical Code 2. No handrails going upstairs. Against National Residential Building Code 3. Hot and cold water in upstairs shower backwards. Against National Residential Building Code Only walk-in shower is upstairs. You need to let people know so handicapped/old people know. Hot tub not in service. Only one towel per person for a weeks stay, unless you do laundry. I don’t rent a house that we have to do laundry in. So much for the bad…. The house is in a good area. Nice and quiet. The kitchen is nicely equipped. We thought the grill was out of propane. He brought another bottle right away.
