Silver Sands Vacation Rentals

Silver Sands Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.46 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Nice large house, quick ride to the beach. My group enjoyed having coffee on the deck each morning and hanging out on the pool after a day at the beach. Only complaint is the ice maker did not work and the comforter and shams in the primary bedroom were stained and dirty, though the sheets were fine so we just pulled the outer stuff off.”airbnb

“Great home for a big family, able to walk to beach, 11th street is a favorable location for me because everything you need is nearby. Pool is on the smaller side though surrounded by many homes, but not many people were in the pool at the same hours as us. Overall a great stay and would stay again.”airbnb

“We had a great stay in the house and would definitely come again to port a if the opportunity arose but here I am to leave an honest review for the next guest!! House is very roomy but note all rooms are on second floor so it’s definitely a work out going up & down carrying them if you have infants Some of the baby gates in the house are broken. Trash cans were pretty full until Monday that they came limiting us to be able to dispose during our weekend stay, 1 bathroom sliding door shared by 2 rooms did not work a couple brown stains on multiple pillows through the bedrooms had stains and on our last Sunday night stay a storm rolled in early morning and knocked down a 25ft palm tree missing my truck by a couple feet and dirtying the pool with debris. But other than that I had a great stay and will definitely come back again.”airbnb

“Very nice place , could use some general maintenance/upgrades to stairs and railing on the high parts of the house. Other than that it was a great weekend and will definitely keep this place in mind for future vacations.”airbnb

“We stayed here for my dad’s 60th birthday and overall had a great experience. The home is beautiful, spacious, and comfortably slept 12. Plenty of room to cook, dine, play games, and relax. The outdoor area and game room were highlights, and the location was great—close to the beach and downtown (golf carts made it easy). A heads up: there are a lot of stairs, which may be difficult for anyone with mobility concerns. There were some inconveniences that were surprising for the price. We had to buy extra paper towels, trash bags, and toilet paper. The trash bin was dirty on arrival, and there was an old coffee filter left in the machine. A bathroom door was broken, outlets didn’t work in one room, and no one came to fix these despite being told they would. There were also no cleaning supplies, wine glasses, or a wine opener. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the small details could be improved.”airbnb

“Very unsafe bunk bed latter was broken. Received three different door lock codes, Floors had spilled stains and the bedding were still dirty from previous guests. when I called they were helpful on communicating but expected us to cut out vacation plans short to rush back for housekeeping hours. Was very disappointed especially since we already paid.”airbnb

“The house is beautiful and in a great location. The rental agency was not the best to work with. Communicating with them via messages was difficult and I was given different information regarding the number of guests allowed than when I spoke with them on the phone. If guests have questions, I definitely suggest calling the number provided rather than wasting time sending messages. During our stay, the grill brush provided was moldy. The office replaced it quickly, although I said we brought one from home and didn’t need a new one right away. We were only provided only 4 wash cloths for 8 adults and 3 children/babies. We were told a work order was placed for more to be brought, but we never received them. We were given enough paper towels/toilet paper/trash bags to last one day, which is different than some other reviews have stated. It’s a shame the rental agency wasn’t great, because the house itself is wonderful and in a quiet neighborhood with great views of wildlife.”airbnb

“Description claimed to have all this free parking for the people staying. Tried buying another parking permit, was told it only comes with 1 and couldn’t purchase another. Then we got sent a list of things we had to bring, toilet paper, paper towels etc. It wasn’t horrible, but won’t be coming back. I could’ve stayed somewhere else for the same price and had a bedroom. Also it’s vacation, why am I having to worry about toilet paper.”airbnb

“Location is good, walkable to the beach and short walk to cinnamon shore for restaurants. Drive to “downtown.” House is spacious and looks like photos. Address is incorrect on maps and takes you to a condo building. Have to access in Google Maps to find the house. AC was broken and had maintenance come TWICE and the first floor bedrooms were still very warm. It was not hot outside. WIFI barely worked, don’t plan to WFH if you can’t hot spot. Turned on ceiling fan in master and dust fell all over the bed. Check out is listed as 11am and cleaning crew showed up at 10am. Decently priced but frustrating with all the issues.”airbnb
