Silver Gate Lodging

“This was a really fun cabin tucked privately on the other side of Soda Butte. It is more rustic feeling but that’s exactly what we were looking for and what we expected. There’s a kitchen with an oven and stove top, which is nice for families and it’s a short walk down to the creek where we saw kids fishing. Bed was comfy and slept great with the cool mountain air coming in the window. Would stay here again!”

“Great place to stay in Cooke City! Of note, there is no wifi or AC in the cabins. Not a problem for us though. There was a fan that helped to cool temps down at night.”

“Silver Gate Lodge is conveniently located near Yellowstone NE gate. We arrived after 9pm and couldn't find general store at first but other locals directed us to it. Once we found it the keys with a map were on a magnet outside the general store making it very easy to find our cabin. We wished the cabin had a microwave but were able to reheat leftovers on the stove in a pot which worked perfectly well. Plenty of bowls, cups and utensils and a table to enjoy dinner at. We were only there for one night from from 10pm-4am so didn't get to enjoy the outdoor seating area with the fire pit. Next time! We also appreciate that they rent scopes, which we will take advantage of next time. There is also a cute little coffee truck next to the general store which we will also try next time!”

“Wonderful, adorable cabins with everything you need for a night or a week. The town is very walkable, dog friendly dining, and just outside the entrance to the park. Would definitely stay again”

“Was traveling along Beartooth Hwy with my son and needed an overnight stay before entering the Park. Silver Gate's cabin was perfect for what we needed. Small but efficient space that was very clean. We used the fire pit and chairs. Cafe nearby was great! They had live music, brews and a fire pit outside with a grill set up cooking hamburgers, hotdogs, and chilli. Nice surprise!”
