“We have been traveling to Surfside Beach for many years now. This is the first time we’ve stayed at this house, but we stayed at the house right next to it, which is almost the same thing but a different company, for a couple years. Both of them are great houses and sure thing properties communicated very quickly with any questions.”

“We had a great weekend at Shore Thing Properties! The home was cozy, spacious, and had easy beach access—perfect for a large family gathering or, in our case, a team/company-building weekend. Plenty of beach towels were provided, and the hosts were very accommodating. We requested a late checkout and were able to stay until 3 PM for an additional $50, which we appreciated. A few areas could be improved, especially considering the price. The kitchen lacked basics like foil, plastic wrap, and Ziplock bags. Some cookware and silverware were old/rusty, and the pans were difficult to cook with. The dishwasher was broken with loose parts inside. The well water also had a strong smell, so bring bottled water for drinking, coffee, and cooking. There were no extra beach items such as sand toys, fishing poles, or surfboards. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved the location and space. With a few updates and added amenities, it could be an excellent beachfront rental!”

“We had a wonderful stay! From my 3 yr old to my 84 year old grandma everyone really enjoyed themselves. Does the property have a few flaws? Yes. But not significant enough to take away from our long awaited beach weekend. Would definitely recommend!! And thank you to our amazing host!! Was always very quick to respond!”

“The beach house was beautifully decorated and honestly was more than we expected! The house was so spacious, even with three boys, 6 and under, running around, we never felt crowded. The balconies with the chairs were our favorite spots! We had dinner out on the balcony and it was perfect! We could see the beach, hear the waves and it was so relaxing. We will definitely be renting from them again. They checked on us that first day and I really appreciated that! No major or minor issues. We of course, overpacked. The house had everything needed. This weekend was worry free and relaxing, mostly because the house was perfect! Thank you Shore Thing!”

“Beach house was in a good location. Walking distance to the beach. Inside the home was very clean. Lots of kitchen utilities, even had an electric can opener. I messaged the host to ask how to turn the fan on and got a response within 2 minutes. Remote was on the wall. I would stay here again in the future.”
