“The place was beautiful, and we really enjoyed our stay! Just two things future guests should know: 1. Seacrest beach access is VERY small only about 30 yards wide. Over Labor Day weekend, the beach chair guys said the first row was taken by 6:30 AM. 2. The host is slow to respond, even DURING the stay. We had an issue with a bike lock and couldn’t access a bike included with our rental. The host took 3 hours to respond, then only asked clarifying questions. After I replied within 20 minutes. After no hearing back for several more hours, we ultimately had to cut the lock and order a replacement ourselves. So, just know the 7-hour response-time warning applies during your stay too. Thank goodness it wasn’t an AC issue!”

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach and close to several restaurants. It was especially convenient to be able to go back and forth from the beach throughout the day. The beach chairs provided with the unit were a nice bonus. When we arrived, there were no dish towels, but the host had housekeeping bring some the following day along with the extra trash bags we requested, which we appreciated. One thing to note for future guests is that there is only one designated parking space for the unit. The only significant issue we encountered was the washing machine. The inside was quite dirty, with visible mold and hair. We brought it to the host's attention, but unfortunately did not receive a response regarding that concern. Hopefully this will be addressed for future guests.”

“Great location. Golf cart is an awesome addition. Able to park the car and use it for most all trips. Very quiet location.”

“I’m extremely disappointed with this experience. We had this home booked for over a week and a half and were literally on the road and heading to the house when we received a notification that our reservation had been canceled due to a scheduling conflict. What makes this even more frustrating is that I received a text from the host just hours before saying, “Get ready for your vacation,” only to have the reservation canceled shortly afterward. Canceling on guests on the day of check-in, especially after confirming our stay that same morning while we were already on our way to the property, is incredibly unprofessional and caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. Thankfully, we were able to find other accommodations, but this situation put a major damper on the start of our vacation. I hope future guests do not have to experience a last minute cancellation like this.”

“We were extremely disappointed with this rental and would not stay here again. We paid nearly $3,000 for our family vacation and arrived to a home that clearly had not been cleaned properly. There were roaches and bugs throughout the house, dirty sheets with hair and crumbs still in the beds, a dirty towel left in the washer, and even items from previous guests left behind. The host replaced the sheets, but that did not fix the overall condition of the home or the stress it caused our family. The worst part was the invasion of privacy during our stay. We paid for an extra day and expected to stay until Tuesday, yet realtors and even neighbors were showing up wanting to tour the property because the home was for sale. We were never properly informed this would happen. We felt uncomfortable, rushed, and completely disrupted while trying to enjoy time with our children. Overall this experience was stressful, disappointing, and far from what was advertised. Host is very rude and careles”

“Unfortunately, our experience was completely ruined due to a double-booking error by the host. We were halfway to this destination when we were informed the property was unavailable because it had been booked by other guests for the same time. We had paid in full months prior. While we eventually received a refund after having to ask a few times for them to cancel it so we wouldn’t lose money, the situation left us scrambling to find last-minute accommodations and significantly disrupted our vacation plans. I cannot recommend booking this listing, as the calendar management is unreliable.”

“very disappointed in the pool, not being ready and he did when we arrived. We specifically requested the pool and agreed to the per day charge. We were confirmed that the home had a heated pool and that it would be heated upon our arrival. Much to our surprise when we arrived, the pool was not heated and ready for us and we were told that the heater was broken. Three days into our stay it was finally repaired. We were not compensated in anyway & very disappointed. We would have chosen another house.”

“This home is a mile+ from the closest public beach, so a car or golf cart is needed for any transportation to/from local sights. The house was clean and the photos of the interior were accurate. We had several negative experiences with the hosts/management company, unfortunately: - Shell Seekers forgot to send us a code to the main gate to the neighborhood, so we had to contact AirBnB for emergency support to access the property upon arrival. - The garbage disposal did not work for the first two days of our stay. The dishwasher overflowed water into the kitchen when we attempted to run it. A maintenance worker arrived on our second day to repair it. - The front and rear door to the house did not lock properly (the maintenance team had the same issue).”
