“The host was responsive up until checkin, but did not address the concerns during stay using airbnb messaging platform and subsequent text message. The location was great and close to the beach, but the condition of stay was less than subpar with cockroaches found on the bed and floor with droppings found on the night stand. Upon arrival, the strong odor required us to air out the unit with portable fans we brought for at least 2 hours. In summary, the location is great, but there are plenty of cleaner options in the area with more responsive hosts.”

“Thank you for letting us stay in the apartment. It was the perfect spot to stay for our son’s golf tournament.”

“The space has mold in the ceilings, and chipped paint on the front and back decks. The main bedroom does not have adequate blinds, which means the mornings are extremely bright and the master bedroom gets very hot as the sun rises. The pillows and sheets are both terrible, highly recommend you bring your own. The Master bath is extremely small. Overall the place was comfortable, but it is not well maintained and not at the standard you usually see in Sea Pines.”

“I texted seashore vacations management regarding master bedroom shower not being warm and AC in MBR not ventilating the room. They responded with a memo to check these. I did not hear back and the problem was not addressed to my knowledge.”

“Coligny Beach and The Breakers is one of our favorite places to vacation.”

“Our family loved the location. Close to everything. Beach was fantastic. We walked everywhere. However, the cleaning people could have done a much better job with the dead spiders on the bedroom walls and fruit flies in the kitchen from the moment we walked into the condo. Could have been from previous people staying there before us but the fruit flies especially were annoying inside the condo. Again, cleaning people should have done a better job. We loved the place. The location was second to none. For being an easy going guy, I was a bit annoyed with it.”

“This place would be fantastic with some updates. Need a new mattress in main bedroom - it sinks in the middle. Carpet appears dirty and old - maybe put tile throughout the apartment - easier maintenance. Great location though - lots to do and beach is a short distance away.”

“At check in we were informed that the shower in the master bathroom needed repair but the part had been ordered and would be installed within the next couple of days. I thought thinks happen, no big deal, if it’s fixed within the first couple days. One of the main reasons we chose this listing was due to the 2 bathrooms since we have 2 teenager daughters. We never heard back from them the whole week about fixing the shower and could not use it. Location and amenities of the place were great though, wish I could give 5 stars.”

“Did not expect to have a mold issue in the unit. The unit was not cleaned well, floors were filthy.”

“Place was filthy. Brown stains on sheets, towels, kitchen pans and utensils were dirty, floor is destroyed, marks and scuffs on the walls, hairs in the bathroom. It was a terrible start to our stay at Hilton Head. Nothing worse than a day of travel and having to find a last minute hotel after checking in. Ocean one is very nice and I would recommend staying in the complex but avoid this unit at all costs. The reservation was refunded but no communication from the owner/manager. Not even an apology.”
