Seashore Realty Group's guest rating of 4.63 is below average and may adversely impact performance. “North Topsail Beach is the quieter side of the island. Beach was beautiful as usual. Covered pool was cold due to no sunlight hitting it. Outdoor pool was nice. Loved the coffee shop. We did find a used bandaid on one of the blankets but we werent using the other twin bed so we just swapped the blankets. Otherwise, condo was very clean. The biggest issue I have is with the requirement to bring your own sheets, pillowcases, and towels or purchase a linen package (which on my unit was $136). If you are driving there that might not be much of an inconvenience, but we flew which meant more weight to add to our checked bags since there was no way I was paying that much money to rent linens. When we arrived, that also meant we had to make the beds which isnt the first thing I want to do when I start my vacation. I feel for the price, that all linens and towels should be included.”airbnb

“Our stay at this Airbnb was extremely disappointing and, unfortunately, the worst Airbnb experience we’ve had. When we arrived, the house looked okay at first glance, but once we started using the bathrooms and looking around, it was clear the property had not been properly cleaned. All three bathrooms were dirty, there was hair left behind from previous guests, dust throughout the house, and ants everywhere. There wasn’t even basic essentials like toilet paper when we arrived, which meant we had to immediately go out and buy supplies. After we contacted the host, housekeeping came the next day. However, they only cleaned the specific areas I had taken pictures of, and even those were not cleaned well. They didn’t clean the rest of the house, even though the entire property needed attention. I shouldn’t have had to photograph every single dirty area just to have the home cleaned properly. Instead of relaxing and enjoying our vacation, we had to spend our own money on cleaning suppli”airbnb

“We've stayed at Surf Condos before & like the location, pool & beach access. However, this particular condo we stayed in was lacking in some areas. We had to stop at their office to get an info packet before we could access our condo. On arrival, there appeared to be pet hair on the floor throughout the condo. There appeared to be a blood stain on one of the pillows left for us to use. Large, dried food stain in the fridge. Human hair on bath mats. The thermostat had restrictions. And while each condo has a ground-level storage closet, we were not permitted to use ours. This made storing beach gear difficult and resulted in a sandy mess. Also, the description of the bathroom was misleading. It was essentially one bathroom, 2 toilets, and 1 shower with a curtain separating the 2 rooms. The kitchen & living area were very nice. I'll admit that we had a previous experience with a private owner in the same condos to compare this visit to, so we had some expectations that weren't met.”airbnb

“Overall, it was fine. But internet never worked on our personal devices, stains on bed comforters and couch, and response time was longer than typical for other visits.”airbnb

“Overall nice place and great location. It would be nice if paper products were provided and linens were not an extra charge.”airbnb

“Has potential but needs TLC & a major deep clean. (not just a quick once over or we would’ve just asked the cleaning people to come back) Most metal in the house was rusty (trash cans, lamps, toilet paper holders, etc.) Noticeably dirty trim, dusty fans, moldy shower head, dirty utensils in drawers, unorganized kitchen. No outdoor swing as pictured. Broken ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms with the blade just left on the ground. Chipped paint and stains on kitchen chairs and stools, peeling finish on dining and coffee table. Stains/wear on the couches. A few of the outdoor chairs had cracks in them & the wooden ones were full of slivers. The house was spacious & right on the beach which we loved. Some beach gear & lots of sand toys. About a 15 min drive to all the action in surf city. We wish it was in better shape. In its current condition I do not think it’s worth the price and would not stay here again. The pictures were misleading as the house was not in the condition they showed.”airbnb

“I’ve stayed in Airbnbs for years - for the amount of extra money they make you pay for linens, it was ridiculous. There were 0 extra paper towels or rolls of toilet paper to be found.”airbnb

“The house is located in a great area if you’re interested in bar scene. Hot tub and pool were great. Although the home wasn’t very clean upon arrival and the yard was not up kept, it was still a good home. P.S $280 for a single pet fee is too high.”airbnb

“Had a great time, was offered discount to stay an extra night and was very interested but when we tried to get in contact with someone about it I stayed on the phone all day from 10 am to 7 pm waiting on a response. Did not get a reply until 9:30 am the next day of check out and check out was at 10 am. Area of condo was nice and peaceful but we were very disappointed by the communication through the company.”airbnb

“Wife and I went Thursday-Sunday expecting to work from location Friday. WiFi does not work for tv/phone/laptop. Tried to communicate issue and got no response. Linens are not included, but you won’t know that until after you book. Location had not been cleaned recently and it showed. Bed is not comfortable in the slightest. Overall property is in a nice area. Great location close to the beach with community pool included. They communicated check-in/check-out clearly. Would have preferred the place to be cleaner and a better description of property upon booking but overall fairly priced for what you get.”airbnb
