Sea Mountain Vacations's guest rating of 4.78 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The place was spacious enough for 16 of us. Upon arrival we did find brown recluses, giant roaches and assorted bugs in the house. When grabbing a dish to use there was a long blonde hair on the plate in which no one there had that kind of hair. There was no ac downstairs like there was upstairs. We had to use multiple fans. The ceiling fan in the downstairs bedroom did not work in which we had to find a breaker box to fix. We stayed for 4 days with 16 people and they only left 2 rolls of Toilet paper and 1 trash bag for the whole stay. The pool company came on our last day there and she said she pool had no chemicals at all meaning the pool was dirty the whole time we were there. Also the drainage in the sinks and upstairs bathroom were horrible and would not drain. We paid a significant amount to stay there and I feel the basic necessities were not met. The location was great though and fast response from host.”airbnb

“The Clodhopper is wonderfully simple and reminiscent of a time where families spent time with one another and built memories to last a lifetime. It has everything that you need for a a week at the beach, my children loved it, I loved it, and if I could buy this home I would because the memories are worth every penny;)”airbnb

“We enjoyed our stay! It’s the perfect walking distance to the beach (2 min) and has direct access. House was clean and the elevator was very helpful. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom which was great too.”airbnb

“Beautiful home.. Matched the photos well. quick walk to the beach. beautiful pool. I do feel like communication was slow ~ they asked to extend the stay for an extra night, whenever i responded asking the price ~ no one ever responded to the message.”airbnb

“I took the time to write this review because it is the truthful and raw description of my first Airbnb experience. The home itself was beautiful, had great amenities, and seemed perfect for my group. Customer service was also available 24/7. However, I gave this stay one star because there was no running water for most of my 22nd birthday weekend. After we checked in, I tried to shower before dinner and discovered the water would not run. I called the company right away, but despite multiple calls and promises, no one fixed the issue that night. We were later offered another house that was not even listed on Airbnb, with no photos provided, which made us uncomfortable. Airbnb delayed escalating the issue, and by the next morning we still had no water. We were dirty, frustrated, and forced to leave. I only received a partial refund and a coupon, while still having to pay out of pocket for a new place. This was one of the worst birthdays I’ve ever had and brought me to literally tears.”airbnb

“We had an overall okay stay. We really liked the privacy, fire pit, porches, and the outdoor area for the kids. There were a few issues, though. Some dishes were not clean, and the walk to the beach was closer to 15–17 minutes vs. 5–7. We were only given one trash bag and a small roll of tissue per bathroom. When we asked for more, we were told that additional supplies were not provided and that guests should make a store run for extended stays even though we were only there for a few days . While we understand policies may vary, this was different from our past Airbnb experiences. The layout may not work for everyone, as one bedroom is separate and also leads to the laundry area. Towels seemed worn, one comforter didn’t appear clean, and storage space in most rooms was limited with the exception of one room, there were no dressers or nightstands available. Overall, the home has some nice features, but a few improvements and basic supplies would make for a much better stay.”airbnb

“Overall a great stay. Unfortunately the pool was not heated when we arrived even though we had pre paid for that. Very cute property would stay again.”airbnb
