“My family and I, including two dogs, thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely retreat. The house was spotless and had lots of nice little details, like a portable speaker so could listen to music in the patio. The beds were comfortable, and even though the house was small, we never felt cramped. The yard is beautiful, and we loved spending time there. The house is only a short walk to the beach and our dogs enjoyed running around there. Only about 10 minute drive to Santa Barbara restaurants. Would definitely book again in the future.”

“The location of this rental, right on the beach, is outstanding. You feel like you’re on a boat, with the waves lapping beneath you. There are some precarious rocks to traverse in order to get to the sand, which would likely be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues.”

“We really enjoyed our stay, it was a big home with a lot of space and the kitchen was wonderful. Our biggest issue was not having central AC and only two units in the master bedrooms. It was really hot and made it a bit uncomfortable mid day. But in the cooler months I’m sure it’s totally fine!”

“We had such a wonderful stay at this Montecito vacation rental. The home was spotless and everything inside felt brand‑new. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, which made cooking super easy, and the whole property was very dog friendly. Our pups especially loved the beautiful yard — it was peaceful, private, and perfect for them to explore and beds were very comfortable!! The neighborhood itself was quiet and relaxing, yet just a short walk to the lower village, great restaurants, and the beach. Truly a great spot all around.”

“This is potentially a beautiful property with 5 bedrooms, a new kitchen, and lovely furnishings in the gathering areas. However, having planned a 3-generation family celebration we were very disappointed with this rental. The property was misrepresented in the listing. For example, just hours before we arrived (at 12:40pm) and our family had traveled to Santa Barbara, we received an email indicating that the outdoor kitchen and dining area are under construction and not available for our use. The email sent stated: "we wanted to make sure you were aware in advance and appreciate your understanding." In fact, the outdoor kitchen was under construction - with active work suspended for the 4 days we were there - and there was even a porto-potty onsite. Since our plans for the weekend included cooking and dining together outside, we would not have chosen this particular rental had we known that these features were not available. There is more to this review which should be published.”

“The house is tight for a group and the space is quite loud. My mother-in-law woke up early the first morning and woke everyone up by making coffee. After that, we agreed to go to bed and wake up at the same time. The walls seem thin. As another reviewer wrote, all the rooms need better pillows. I forgot my Kindle at the house and the rental company charged me $71.00 to ship it back. Yard is beautiful and the location is great.”
