“Sir: I was extremely disappointed in my stay. CHECK IN WAS PITIFULLY EXPLAINED!! I think he had a date! Cut it way to damn short of explaining how to enter my DOWN GRADED $3200 for 3 nights ripped off CONDO! Very disappointed!!!! -water issues - blinds in middle room.. I had to with my hands manually roll up them & hoped to hook to keep from retracting down. I had to do this every morning. 👎👎👎👎👎 Jay Jones Also, for your all future stay & repeat business, clean up the main entrance to condo.. trash & cigarettes buts left on ground nightly!! Microwave issues.. remove one or repair the Microwave built into the cabinet. Out doors needs to be Updated especially the pool area & the gates & walk way to the Beach What is the deal with the property line.. set up a 2 feet to FAR!! GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!! WHY SO MANY FREAKING CODES Jay Jones”

“Great place to stay. Golf cart was a huge plus. Allowed easy access to all points on property. The home is centrally located with quick access to Baytowne Wharf, Marina, and beach. Great place for a family to stay!”

“The condo itself was great—larger than I expected, and very cute and charming. We really enjoyed the space and felt comfortable during our stay. The biggest downside was communication. The host did not communicate through the Airbnb app, which made things frustrating. Whenever I reached out, I either got generic responses or very delayed replies, making it difficult to get timely answers when needed. There were 2 of us in our room and hot water ran out after 1 shower.”

“The condo was beautiful; however, we did have issues with our golf cart. We were able to use it only one day when it ended up dying on us with 47% battery left and we only had a mile ago. We did let the front desk know and were told that technician would get back with us but the next two days we never received a callback from the tech technician or any update. After we left, I did receive a voicemail from the manager that stated we would receive a refund for the amount of the golf cart for those three days, but, as of today have not seen the refund issued or heard back from them on the email I sent regarding it. The golf cart was the main reason that we stayed at that location in order to ride it to the beach to Baytown wharf, etc.. So, it was a little disappointing that we did not have that during our stay.”

“We booked this exact location last year. This time was very different. We had to go over a mile from the house to check in. Thankfully we were able to ride the tram. And when I called, they said we could check in early! The check-in attendants were very kind and helpful. At check-in we were given key cards to get into the gate, but there was nowhere to use a key card on any of the gates. They are all metal numbers you have to punch in. I called three separate times to try to get help and they kept telling me over and over again to use my key card, check my text messages, and acted like it was my fault I couldn’t get in. Some of the owners saw us struggling at the main gate and after showing them our reservations and what was going on, they confirmed we had to have a 4 digit code and gave us their code so we could get through the gate. House was great- but do not leave the check in desk without a 4 digit gate code.”

“Overall we had a positive experience and we would return if there is no construction Positives: -Excellent location with quick access to the beach, hot tub, and pool -The unit layout is as described with plenty of space for my family -Great balcony space with 10/10 beach views -Very clean space with most needed home amenities -Secure location Negatives -While they disclose an active exterior renovation project buried in the description I wasn't expecting to hear loud drilling and banging noises within the unit at 9 am -The host doesn't communicate within the airbnb app for urgent matters and they expect you to reach out to the resort customer service -Upstairs main bathroom roller shade is broken -Refrigerator door is hard to open for the average person -One balcony door doesn't lock”

“THE WORST check in experience we have ever had! After a long drive we arrived promptly at the stated check in time of 4pm. We were told our condo was not ready and “they had until 6pm.” NO WHERE in any check in communications did it reference 4-6pm, which they finally agreed was not properly communicated. We were stranded for 5 hours with kids and groceries and our condo was not available until nearly 9pm at night. I had to revisit the check in desk multiple times to check on the status, where they lied many times saying that housekeeping was “in the room” but we could clearly see they were not. It was AWFUL, and there were many other families stranded by the pool in the same situation. Later we attempted to extend our trip by a day since we missed the full first day and the owner was completely unresponsive to ours and Airbnb’s request. Overall the worst customer service experience, both from the owner and Sandestin resort!!!!”

“The room listed was not the room that was provided. The listed room , was being renovated but I was not informed until walking into the new room, that was provided, noticing how small that the room actually was. The Host nor Airbnb Support were able change my room to a comparable size of what I originally booked. I spent over 3 hours wasting time - ultimately, I had to , go to , the resort’s front office, request a manager & the manager accompanied my needs & rectified the issue. I will not properly informed/notified of the room changes .”
