Furniture/decor choices make you feel like you’re in someone’s gorgeous, modern, well designed home that retained its lovely, historical character. Very peaceful and comfortable. Also really nice to have an enclosed yard with grass for our dog. Perfect home base for exploring Pacific Grove.”

“This place truly was a remarkable stay. Beautiful area, really nice home, and lots of great places to eat. I’ll highlight the main drawbacks: - not very private or secluded. This location is above and next to three businesses, so you will hear people quite easily. - the noise was consistent. People moving trash cans daily in the evening and early morning. - the bed and pillows are my biggest complaint. For the price, this bed and pillows should be comfortable and luxurious. Instead it was very stiff and the pillows were very flat. - adding an electric kettle, or stove top kettle would be a wonderful addition to this stay.”

“Nice cozy place, perfect for a weekend getaway for 2. The location of this place is the selling point —and why the rate is so high! It’s very walkable to Lovers Point Beach and the heated Stillwell Pool next to the beach, which is perfect for toddlers. Also a pleasant short walk to restaurants. Host was responsive and helpful. However, the first night I noticed the conditioner dispenser wasn’t working. I let the host know and they said they’d send someone to fix it the next day, but no one ever came to fix it. This was the only issue we had though.”
