“Cannery Cottage was beautiful, cozy, well-appointed and just one block from a stellar shore walk on the Monterey Bay trail. We loved the furnishings and fireplace, quality beds and bedding, natural light, outdoor firepit lounge area with a beautiful mural, and the craftsman design of this home. Location in Pacific Grove was terrific for anything we wanted to do in the area. Would love to have stayed twice as long!”

“Very unique house so fun for those looking for something a little different. Truly floor to ceiling views of the woods. Also, the lighting on the back deck is literally perfect for photos. Our 4 year old loved the swing on the back patio, so that was an added bonus. As advertised, kitchen is very well stocked with any appliance you could want. As other reviews alluded to, this is not the most updated property as the pictures allude to. Upstairs carpet is very worn, bathrooms are fine just not highly functional, back deck is very worn, and due to the windows, it gets REALLY hot upstairs during day regardless of thermostat. So although the home is really cool and different, you're paying top dollar for the location and uniqueness. I would not call it "luxury" property, but certainly functional, clean and well located.”

“3903 Mabuhay - 2 Monte Verde Street. I would highly recommend to stay away from this property. Property is very, very dated, had a smell and carpets/pillows/couches were stained. Very creepy inside, almost looked haunted. We arrived late in the evening, and actually walked out of the property. We called to get a refund/credit and rep from Sanctuary Vacation Rentals only credited me the cleaning fees, lost $5000. Would not use again.”
