“This home was beautiful. It was nestled into nature but still extremely close to plenty of activities and restaurants. It was spacious, with plenty of room for our whole family. The one downside was that the house felt like it had been cleaned at some point but then sat empty for a while before we arrived, without a final freshening up. The basement had quite a few spider webs, and there was a noticeable gnat problem, especially in the bedroom with the king bed. The top towels were even covered in gnats when we checked in, something a pre-checkin cleaning pass might have caught.”

“Don't Stay Here!!! We had German cockroaches coming out of the floor vents!! The sheets were soiled with a lot of long hair on both beds. We found the dirty sheets when putting our kids to bed. It was a late night washing and drying all the bedding. The floors were also dirty. The location took 12 hours, next day, to call me back about my concerns.”

“The driveway was blocked by a big branch that had fallen from a storm. We moved it. The hot tub smelled terrible so we couldn’t use it. The back deck is covered in bird poo so we couldn’t use it. The loft bathroom has con webs beside the door. Kitchen had a roach”

“the room was gorgeous & spacious with everything you need. I did not like that I didnt get checking instructions until 4pm. description says you can checkin at 4, but truly u cant get in the gate until after you get the instructions after 4pm, so really you may get to your room after 4:30 at best! we always book a unit with laundry & my daughter had another trip so we really counted on being able to wash laundry. the washer was torn up when we arrived & we never go to do any laundry. closeness to the beach is great, elevators were awesome. only 1 hit tub was heated, & gets saturated with children. the security guards at the pool will make u go back to your room to get armbands but dont control children in hot tubs which ia posted as a rule! WATER PRESSURE in showers was awful. I think ita just thw faucets they have but there ia barely pressure for shower & that was the only negative of the actual room.”

“Fridge broken - temperature was over 50 degrees. Asked numerous times for it to be fixed. Instead of taking the issue seriously, they just sent out a handyman to turn the breaker off / on and tell us a fridge is supposed to be around 50 degrees. Took an entire day and numerous phones calls, finally complaining to Airbnb, to get an appliance repair person out and when the properly learned we were checking out in the morning per Airbnb instructions, they didn't fix anything. Once we complained to Airbnb, the property refused to talk with us to resolve any issues. Airbnb promised a refund and then I had to fight with them because the property was unresponsive and would not release the funds. The house was very large and the views wonderful. The only bright spot was the pool table, which kept the kids entertained while I dealt with all the issues. Horrible experience in a property that could have been beautiful!”

“We expected better conditions for the price we paid! Hot tub was dirty & the filter was absolutely disgusting! Refrigerator wouldn't cool for the first day & we purchased a lot of groceries (very upsetting). For a place so secluded we expected things to work properly, be cleaned properly. There was very little space for trash & no where to take it to in the neighborhood. This is unacceptable for a place that sleeps a large party of people! They made it sound like they were doing us a favor by coming out & cleaning the hot tub properly and emptying the outside small trash cans. This place was pretty expensive & we expected it to provide everything the listing advertised. I specifically filtered my search for a place that had a hot tub & access to a pool. They advertised 3 pools, but all 3 pools were closed for maintenance our entire stay & the hot wasn't useable for a few days! It's absolutely unacceptable! I gave them a chance to compensate us & make it right! They wouldn't!”

“I was extremely disappointed by the property's cleanliness. Towels with feces stains were left folded as clean, and hair was found on sheets and towels. Adding to my concerns, guests were instructed to leave used sheets on the bed after checkout, which felt unsanitary given the condition of the linens. I removed the sheets myself. Despite photo evidence, the response was inadequate, requiring Airbnb escalation. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and this experience was completely unacceptable.”

“Beautiful, pristine, and comfortable home. The 4 king bedrooms with en suites worked great for our group, and we enjoyed the hot tub, games, and shuffleboard. Drawbacks: Stairs were very challenging with a baby; purchased gate didn’t fit. More towels would have been helpful. Home is ~30 min from most attractions and not walkable to anything. Biggest issues: Bears came close (<5-10’) while we were walking in the driveway 3x, reducing peace of mind. The amenities were grossly misrepresented. One pool was largely empty with green water, another pool’s water was black, and the advertised pickleball court was in severe disrepair with a net held up by chairs and a slippery, moss-covered surface. My husband slipped and injured his toe. Most disappointing was the response. We were told the HOA controls the amenities and no compensation could be offered. Guests book based on the listing. If amenities are advertised, their condition should be monitored and accurately represented. A day ruined.”

“House needed supplies. I expect start up coffee and creamer , two pods of coffee and no creamer. No dish liquid only pods for dishwasher. Otherwise beautiful and clean.”

“The home is only a year old and you can see where it’s starting to wear and is in need of a deep cleaning. The hot tub was absolutely disgusting. Yes they came right out to try and make it right but it was still not clean. Not to mention we lost the first night with it. The filter they pulled out should have been replaced instead of cleaning it with Clorox bleach spray. It was one of the mail reasons we picked this home. The shower on upper level holds water and does not drain properly. Was not worth the money you pay. Very disappointing.”
