“We've stayed at Oak Square for about 12yrs. This unit is newly remodeled and they did a lovely job with it. We love the convenience of OS for access the park or walking in downtown. Unit is exactly as pictured. There was long hair in the bathroom floor that I swept up and the shower mat looks dirty, to me, but it is white so it maybe from several uses and washes. They state they supply starter kits of toilet paper and paper towels. My guess is you get whatever is left from previous guest because there was not even a full roll of toilet paper so we did need to get more even though we didn't arrive until after 10pm on check in day, were gone all day both days we stayed and only used the unit to shower & sleep. However these few things would not stop me from renting the unit again. Already checked dates for future stay. The remodel is fresh & clean, we love the location, and will continue to be one of our favorite picks for visits.”airbnb

“I was extremely disappointed by the property's cleanliness. Towels with feces stains were left folded as clean, and hair was found on sheets and towels. Adding to my concerns, guests were instructed to leave used sheets on the bed after checkout, which felt unsanitary given the condition of the linens. I removed the sheets myself. Despite photo evidence, the response was inadequate, requiring Airbnb escalation. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and this experience was completely unacceptable.”airbnb

“Beautiful, pristine, and comfortable home. The 4 king bedrooms with en suites worked great for our group, and we enjoyed the hot tub, games, and shuffleboard. Drawbacks: Stairs were very challenging with a baby; purchased gate didn’t fit. More towels would have been helpful. Home is ~30 min from most attractions and not walkable to anything. Biggest issues: Bears came close (<5-10’) while we were walking in the driveway 3x, reducing peace of mind. The amenities were grossly misrepresented. One pool was largely empty with green water, another pool’s water was black, and the advertised pickleball court was in severe disrepair with a net held up by chairs and a slippery, moss-covered surface. My husband slipped and injured his toe. Most disappointing was the response. We were told the HOA controls the amenities and no compensation could be offered. Guests book based on the listing. If amenities are advertised, their condition should be monitored and accurately represented. A day ruined.”airbnb

“House needed supplies. I expect start up coffee and creamer , two pods of coffee and no creamer. No dish liquid only pods for dishwasher. Otherwise beautiful and clean.”airbnb

“Only 2 dishwasher tabs, not enough. At the price as you’re renting, we should not have to bring our own toilet tissue, paper towel towels, etc. Kitchen floor was dirty, and the dining table was not clean. Otherwise, the cabin was great.”airbnb

“The home is only a year old and you can see where it’s starting to wear and is in need of a deep cleaning. The hot tub was absolutely disgusting. Yes they came right out to try and make it right but it was still not clean. Not to mention we lost the first night with it. The filter they pulled out should have been replaced instead of cleaning it with Clorox bleach spray. It was one of the mail reasons we picked this home. The shower on upper level holds water and does not drain properly. Was not worth the money you pay. Very disappointing.”airbnb

“CASCADES ESCAPE Pros: Beautiful cabin with amazing views. Stunning doesn’t even describe the views. Very comfortable beds. Cons: we arrived at 11pm and found the entry blocked by a Jeep. After about 40 minutes a woman came out of a nearby cabin and told us to go a different way to get there. We notified Red Door. The other entry was almost impossible to get up with our van due to not having AWD or 4WD. There was no ice, snow, or rain. There is loose gravel and dirt covering parts of the paved road due to construction. We at one point were sliding backwards. Throughout the duration of our one week stay the Jeep continued to block the other road. We informed Red Door we were leaving a day early due to rain coming and our concern of sliding backwards off the hill once that dirt was wet. They at that point stated they would attempt to try to figure out how to get the Jeep to move. Another neighbor informed us the owner of the Jeep has been parking that way for months.”airbnb

“I will never return back to this place. First off, I was extremely disappointed as we arrived to our cabin the internet was not working at all. Mind you, this place has a TV in every room and a big theatre room dowstairs. NOT TO MENTION, We paid extra money to check in early because we had family from australia here for my sons 1st bday. They said they will get a maintenance guy to fix the issue then we left and came bk hours after and noone contacted us to say the issue was still not fixed. Terrible service i had to call my damn self to jhave someone deal with it we had no internet for hours until that night. I will not ever recommed anyone to waste your money coming here!!!!”airbnb
