Manager Review

Pure Suites

Pure Suites's guest rating of 4.61 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Great Stay!

Not much value for the price. We had to clean quite a bit for our comfort level. There was a fairly rude exchange from the host to me when I made them aware of a leak in the property’s hot water heater. Not impressed.

This was by far the worst Airbnb experience I have had. The host did not provide even basic essentials such as hand soap or dish washing soap. When we asked about these items, the response was rude and unhelpful. Several appliances were also not functioning properly, including the mixer, which made our stay inconvenient. We booked this property for one month but stayed for two weeks only. The lack of basic amenities, non-working equipment, and poor communication from the host made the stay very disappointing. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

This stay was a nightmare — the worst I’ve had on Airbnb. The unit arrived in unacceptable condition: intermittent/no internet (briefly came back then failed again), pests (bugs and a centipede), a kitchen shelf hanging on a single screw, and filthy, dusty surfaces I had to clean. The host was hostile, locked us out, said “I’d like to see you suffer, so wait a bit longer,” and abruptly terminated our reservation at 5:00 p.m. while keeping the door locked on us. She accused me of not including my toddler when booking, and charged an unreasonable fee with no itemized receipt, and demanded a $75 Cox technician visit. This was stressful and unsafe to my family and me. The only upside was the great location and property potential. Airbnb Support has been helpful and is working to resolve it. Host will attempt you to book with them directly and not via Airbnb- please please do not fall for it!

Excellent location and strong amenities at the Montreux complex. The unit itself showed signs of deferred maintenance, including pet odor, worn carpet, and some cleaning issues. A basic kitchen maintenance issue (rusted knives) required multiple follow-ups and escalation before being resolved. Communication with management during this process was not handled professionally and detracted from the stay.

This was, without question, the worst Airbnb experience I have had after thousands of stays worldwide. We arrived at check-in with our family and could not access the property. The host required a lease but did not successfully provide it prior to check-in. I repeatedly asked for it to be resent to multiple email addresses and checked all folders, including spam, but never received it. The host refused to resend it and insisted it had already been delivered. Communication became confrontational, including being told I was "lying" while trying to resolve the issue. After more than two hours of failed attempts, we had to find alternative accommodations. This was especially stressful as we are in Phoenix for a serious medical situation near Mayo Clinic. I would strongly advise others to avoid this listing.

Apartment itself was clean and fine. But based on what their manager said, our 2yo baby had to walk on her toes all day long, in order to avoid our neighbors banging the walls. Basically we deserved that, as there your baby has to be reasonable as an adult and be always quite. And it's not your neighbor's behaving inappropriately banging walls aggressively every time when you baby even slightly runs in the apartment you paid for, it's your fault, you have to control your baby's activity in order to not get bullied. And it's all about noon, afternoon, early evening...Perfectly appropriate communication for an apartment building management, good job! Victim blaming? Never heard of it

The location of the complex is fantastic and the complex amenities were clean, well kept and as described. The condo itself and its furnishings were far from premier. The dryer didn’t dry, the AC unit was noisy, the couch & chair were beat up and dirty, cupboards were missing hinges and dishes were chipped and well used. The host offered to address some of the issues but only if we let maintenance in without notice which we couldn’t do as we had our dogs with us. The pictures made the units look far nicer than they are in reality.

The location was great the community was quiet. The bed in the main bedroom was comfortable. The shower was hot and relaxing. Lack of attention to detail in the unit took away from what this unit could be, it is clearly not luxury by no means. The TV in the living room was old without HDMI ports, updating furnishings would add to the value of the unit. There was an issue with the bedding and Pure Suites did take care of it however when there was an issue with the AC and we reached out to the office the lady that answered the phone was rude and hung up.
