“This house was exactly what we needed for our family of 10. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out when needed or have their own space in their bedroom and bathroom. Kitchen was impressively stocked for all our needs, in addition to 2 refrigerator/freezers, 2 grills, light switches were labeled, along with nightlights throughout the house, plenty of deck space for everyone to gather outside, all beds were comfortable and a great bedroom for the kids, which they loved to play in. Would definitely recommend to stay here again.”

“Our entry code didn’t work upon arriving, but after calling the office and a quick conversation, we were told the power had gone out sometime before our arrival and it reset the door code. It was resolved quickly, but later that night when we had gotten out of the hot tub and needed to take a shower, all the showers were ICE cold! Like a polar plunge, it was freezing. I messaged the property and they responded quickly on a Saturday morning during a holiday weekend, which I was grateful for. The pilot light in the electric water heater went out, so it was a quick solve, but I wish they would have checked this since they knew the power had gone out and reset the door lock. I would recommend bringing your own drinking water and there were some dust bunnies in the bedrooms/common areas. Besides this, our stay was amazing and the place looks exactly as described! It’s located on a quiet backroad by the lake that you could take a walk on, which was nice. Overall, would recommend!”

“Shower situation very bad- smell is unbearable. Understand that it’s well water but maybe it’s because no one has used the place since Christmas time??? Very difficult to have an enjoyable weekend when the whole house smells like rotten eggs every time you want to shower.”

“The house is in a great location and has wonderful parking. Although the downstairs door does not lock and the front door did not stay locked. There was trash left behind and old food and clothes outside by the hot tub. We would have had a wonderful time if it was cleaned better and if the doors locked appropriately.”

“The listing of this house matched exactly what we expected. It was cozy and private and gave a nice wintery feel. There was however a few issues we noted. The fireplace would not stay lit and the water from the fridge was either not hooked up or not working. There was also black mold on the spout where the water comes out. Additionally the remote that worked the ceiling fan and lights in the main floor bedroom didnt work. So for us to run the fan at night we had to unscrew the light bulbs. These were by no means major issues that affected our stay. However, I did message the host to let them know of the first two issues and got no reply. Not even an acknowledgment of my message. That is what bothered me the most. I wonder what would have happened if we had a major issue. Due to that, I’m not sure if I’d stay here again.”

“We had a wonderful time in Deep Creek and the home was absolutely beautiful! Plenty of activity for the kids ranging from 7-14. The host was responsive and helpful! We would love to come back ❄️♥️”
