Manager Review

Ponderosa Realty & Management

Ponderosa Realty & Management's guest rating of 4.79 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

The stay was peaceful with Mountain view off of the small deck. It was cozy and the bathroom was a little tight but it works well. Only recommendations I would have would be the kitchen accessories very limited dishes. Everything matched the description.

Very nice place for 2 people, not 4. Bedroom bed was comfortable. Living room pullout couch is very small. Maybe 1 small child could sleep on it. Living room furniture needs to be updated, it’s very uncomfortable. Great location, quiet and peaceful.

Would not stay again, just because of communication. I will say that the property was quite fine. A little cramped for two people (bed is not a queen, more like a “full” size or a double, but everything else was quite fine and the location, just a mile or two of the “downtown” area is very convenient. Our problems were that the wifi did not work from the very beginning, and the property company running the place did not fix it for three days, meaning we chewed up our own data plan during that time. When they did fix it, they tried to blame me, saying I must have turned it off. Reader, I did not, and did not appreciate this accusation. I had to contact Airbnb support to get any response from the host. Moreover, we asked about hand soap (empty when we arrived) and an extra blanket. Those requests went utterly unanswered, not even acknowledged. Not super-important, clearly, but indicative. The place is fine, truly, just don’t expect any support whatsoever.

Definitely rustic but worked just fine. This is a beautiful location with easy park access. There is plenty of space to feel like a relaxing place to be. I would highly recommend bringing your own pillows if you can. The ones there are so, so old and thin. My neck is still killing me.

This was a very easy and frictionless stay! The property was actually prettier than we expected, which is always nice. It was quiet and had really lovely seating areas both front and back, with the back looking out over the twin sisters peaks. The only thing I could complain about was that it got quite hot (we came during a heat wave at the end of July) and the fans in the apt aren't great. I ended up setting up a box fan to vent out the master bedroom window while opening the screen door at night to pull in cool night air. That worked, but it would have been nice if there were something a little more built-in. Still, though, a very lovely stay.

The property was as described in the listing. It was nicely furnished, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The only downfall I would say was the lack of air conditioning. Two box fans for the entire property didn’t allow for much airflow. Our first night was a little warm. Other than that, it was nice to have access to our own washer and dryer, as well as a fully stocked kitchen including a dishwasher. The price seemed a little high, but was close to Rocky Mountain National Park as well as many tourist attractions.

Location was great. Lots of kids toys. The directions were at times contradictory and therefore confusing. Home interior is dated which we didn’t expect from looking at the listing.

The cabin has a great location and we loved the wildlife that came past. It was fine for our needs. With that being said, when I pay this much for a nightly rate, it would be nice to have bedding that isn’t old and just gross looking. You host an airBNB that is nearly $500 a night in total and you can’t drop a couple hundred dollars on some nice bedding and pillows? Everything in it feels like an after thought. We took very quick showers but I still ended up having one that cut off within a minute and I had to go sit in a towel on the couch and wait for the water heater. Not in any way worth the cost.

Great location and great view. A bit smaller than what it seems in the photos but to be expected of a cabin. I will say it gets VERY hot as there is no AC, but there was an extra fan in the closet which was a life saver. I did not like that they only provided 1 toilet paper roll for an entire week of stay, and when I called they said that’s all they can give , however I ended up just buying some myself. It is really close to the entrance of the park and within 5-10 mins of everything in Estes.

It’s a great private location. Wildlife walked by mornings and evenings. I wished I would have brought a humming bird feeder as there were humming birds flying back and forth. Great location to get to Rocky Mountain National park. Plus’s there’s a trail from the cabin into the park. The only problem was a malfunction of the toilet in the main bathroom. They couldn’t get it fixed until after we checked out. Stuff happens but that was the only issue.
