“Great location, with in 10 minutes of anything you could need. Large kitchen and rooms, this home is perfect for up to 8 adults. Sunsets are unobstructed from the porch.”

“This place felt like living like local but nice still a nice hotel stay. This place was extremely close to many things like a shopping plaza and site seeing, so it was easy to jump into the world around us. The small patio area was perfect to enjoy nature and the AC in the room was great for those hot nights. We also loved the fact we were able to do laundry after the beach days and muddy hikes we did. Would highly recommend staying if you want a get a vacation that feels more connected and comfortable to Kauai.”

“We booked a specific unit based on the listing photos and description, but upon arrival we were given an entirely different unit that did not match what we reserved. The host provided no explanation or apology for the switch, in fact she told us to take it or leave it. I had a large family group, we were in town for a my son wedding. we tried to find a place to host us all, but we weren’t able so we had not choice but to stay in the nasty house. Worse, the house had a clear roach infestation. We saw multiple live roaches in the kitchen and bathroom during our stay. This made the space feel unclean and uninhabitable. Overall, the stay was a major disappointment. The unit we received was not the one we paid for, and the pest problem made it impossible to feel comfortable. I would not recommend this host or property.”

“Great location in south shore. Small beach right across the street for great sunsets. There are a lot of birds early morning so it’s loud (with the windows open with the lack of A/C, totally manageable, especially if you’re an early riser). One issue is that there is not a washer and dryer in unit. There is a laundry room with weird hours and a coin machine that does not work. Parking can also be a bit difficult as the parking lot is small and the spaces in the garage are mostly compact spaces that are left empty while compact cars are parked in the bigger spaces so parking an SUV (even midsize) can be difficult. Also, just have to wander around because the condo numbers are confusing. With some having 3 numbers and some having two numbers separated by a dash. Overall, I liked my stay here, loved South shore, loved Kaua’i.”

“Great location, property is on the oceanfront. Short path down to the lava cliffs, with waves crashing. Air conditioning was a problem. Listing indicated aircon, but the description didn't mention that the second bedroom has no aircon. Furthermore, the master bedroom aircon was a portable unit, which was a bit loud. It worked ok for the one bedroom, but rather surprising to see a portable unit there. I will try to attach photos. The second bedroom was hot. We tried opening the louvers and sliding doors, but it didn't help a lot. Furthermore, the screen doors didn't lock, and you have noise from birds well before sunrise. Others have mentioned the mundane furnishings, but was comfortable, apart from the aforementioned issues with aircon.”

“Nice place, nice location. Wasn’t very clean when we arrived, had to sweep and wipe countertops when we got in. There were white liquids on the mirrors. Otherwise very good location and amenities. Very close to everything. Great place overall though and would recommend!”

“We arrived at check in time (4pm) and the cleaners were still there. We had to wait 35 minutes for them to finish. Ants/bugs in the bathroom and kitchen. Some of our food was spoiled by bugs. Had to store our food in a trash bag to keep it safe. Then we started having issues with the power. Most of the house started to experience power flickering or no power at all. Lights and appliances either didn’t work or kept turning on and off, chiming loudly over and over. We were unable to use the appliances and refrigerator, no AC, no ceiling fans and lights. We contacted Vicki and she sent somebody out while we were at the beach and told me “everything checked out”. Well, when we returned late that evening all was not well. We went the whole night like this. Using our cell phones as flashlights in a hot house. I have requested a refund for that night. Vicki is claiming it was out of their control and has refused. There were no reported outages in the area according to the outage map. HORRIBLE”

“Older complex in a FANTASTIC location! Pool, hot tub, grounds well maintained. Condo unit was rather run down needing several repairs (screen doors, sliding door, tub). The kitchen was barren, not well stocked as stated, nor in good condition. Only a keurig coffee maker with no complimentary pods to get us started. No spices, plastic wrap, foil or bags. 1st condo we have stayed at in Hawaii with no beach accessories (sand chairs, pool noodles, grass mats, blow ups, etc.). Listing stated many games on hand, only found one deck of cards. Beds were nice.”
