4.78Visit website
Parrish Kauai's guest rating of 4.78 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Beautiful views. Only complaint is that the 2nd shower wasn’t working so we all had to share the shower in the other bathroom. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay.”airbnb

“We had a great stay. The view is wonderful and the location is perfect for exploring the north shore.”airbnb

“The view was lovelier than the pictures. The area was perfect. Short walk down the hill to the beach… slightly longer/tricker walk to amazing hideaway beach. Foodland off the main road though the other grocery was also a short drive to Hanalei. Comfy bed and honestly more space than we needed but having both balconies was phenomenal. A bit hard to see in the bathroom mirrors so when I’d put on makeup I’d use a mirror in one of the main rooms. Great pool opens at 9. Happy Talk bar and grill on site was great with amazing bartenders. Great stay!”airbnb

“5 star lodgings, 3 or 2 star hosts. The house is fantastic. Really well taken care of, no musty smells whatsoever. Just a lovely little spot w/ huge sloping yard. Peaceful and beautiful and old school Hawaii. Hosts were kind of a pain. They seemed to have never have had someone with a service dog before. They called and asked all sorts of questions about our dogs except the ones they are legally allowed to ask, they told us we had to give them a credit card over the phone (because of the dogs) or they would cancel our booking, and they told us they needed to do an in-person "walkthrough" on our second day there. -_- They called, SMS texted, and emailed a *lot*, and really only used the Airbnb app when I messaged them there. Really made me regret giving them phone and email. After we got past all that in the first few days it quieted down, but I have never had a host be so intrusive on Airbnb. Still, lovely place! To be honest would still stay there again despite all that! 😂”airbnb

“The location is great, can't go wrong with Poipu. The condo was very clean and the kitchen is well stocked. the maintenance being performed was not the best. The fan in the bathroom was falling down and not working. A bedframe was missing hardware and fell apart. I messaged them and they sent someone out who put bolts in with no nuts so it just fell apart again. I called them and they had some come who put nuts on but didn't size the frame correctly so the metal rail was sticking out 6 inches to the side of the mattress. There are no locks on any of the doors inside the unit. Also they do not state it but the picture of the pool eludes to there being a spa, it is not a spa just a kiddie pool. A few other groups we met there were also confused by this.”airbnb

“I’m praying the next screen allows photos bc no one is going to believe the level of filth unless they see the pictures. Ants in the 100k range…they had bait on the tub when arrived….,so yes, the bait works great. Tv sounded like a babbling brook…WiFi interference….guys came, agreed, unplugged the tv=—that’s it. Roosters going nuts from 4am on, extensive wood trim floor water damage—I informed them that small creek was building and they came with silica sand bags. It just goes on and on. All marketing baloney. This company, per their worker has 300+ units. Seems like ai is responding to everything. Claiming they can’t read iMessage…”airbnb

“We have stayed in another condo at this property many times before but this was our first and last stay at any property managed by the Parrish Collection. Upon checking into the home we noticed a dishwasher filled with dirty dishes and then we saw fecal matter all over the outside of the toilet in downstairs bathroom. So disgusting! We messaged and called the host and no response. This is completely unacceptable when you pay a lot of money to stay here, at very least you would expect the home to be clean. Communication and customer service isn’t a priority to this management company. I would recommend staying elsewhere.”airbnb

“We didn’t actually get to stay at this property. The island was under an extreme weather alert with a state of emergency from the governor. Torrential rains, and extreme flooding, closed roads, etc. Parrish would not allow us to reschedule and they refused to refund our $3100 paid in advance. The travel insurance was useless. I will never stay an another property managed by Jonathan Parrish!!!!”airbnb

“Pros: spacious, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable living space, nice bathtub, garage, washer and dryer a plus. Nice beach extras (towels, beach chairs, etc.) Walkable paths nearby. Cons: low water pressure/cheap shower heads, host doesn't prefer to communicate through Airbnb, so there's extra paperwork outside of the system. The hot tub was out of order for part of our stay. Description says it's a heated pool but it was definitely way too cold to be in, to the point that the hot tub was always full of kids. The garage had a random truck in it during our stay. Overall it was a nice place but given all the options nearby I would probably not stay there again.”airbnb

“This location is unique as there very few tourists that visit it. However, the weather was mostly cloudy for the whole two weeks we were there. The house was in overall in good condition. The washer broke the first day we arrived and the management company offered do so our laundry for the first week and the second week we washed our clothes in the sink which was a huge destruction for our stay. We asked the management company the do our laundry for the entire stay and were told we will get a response from the manager but we never heard back on it and didn’t want to push any further. Overall, it was a positive experience and the house is functional. The one thing that didn’t work for us are the mattresses were super soft and not very comfortable. We didn’t think this house was worth 35,000 k given the quality of the home and location but was overall a pleasant experience.”airbnb
