Manager Review

Palisades Tahoe Lodge Rentals

Palisades Tahoe Lodge Rentals's guest rating of 4.78 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Very disappointing and stressful experience. We arrived with a small child and discovered that there was no electricity in the property. We immediately contacted the host and tried to get help, but the host was barely responsive. On top of that, the fire alarm went off multiple times during the night. The first time was approximately from 11:40 PM to 12:20 AM, and then again around 2:30 AM. Because of this, we had to leave the property in the middle of the night with our child and stay in a neighboring building. What was especially frustrating was that the host only responded in the morning, after we had already returned home. During the entire situation, the host did not respond or provide any meaningful solution. I understand that unexpected problems can happen, but the way the host handled the situation was completely unacceptable. Leaving a family with a small child without electricity, with a fire alarm going off in the middle of the night, and with almost no communication is n

Only complaint was it got really warm at night and the climate control is only for heat in winter time

Everything was great! The amenities and location were perfect! The fans in our loft were working overtime because we didn’t have AC but if you were to open a window, the breeze was glorious.

AVOID. The apartment is way too old than the photos shown. No hot water during our stay, the apartment was so hot inside, even there was a portable AC and fan, room temperature was always 84/85F (or 28/29C) - so hard to fall asleep. Smelly apartment as well, it needs a lot of maintenance and cleaning. Not worth at all.

The heater is always turned on to max for the entire building, but each individual room has an AC unit which can barely fight the heater. The 15ft ceiling smoke detector was beeping all night and we called to have it fixed at 8am. We return to the unit at 9pm and they say “we have no record of this work order” and that their emergency maintenance team is not available after 8:30pm. What kind of hotel doesn’t have emergency maintenance after 9pm? What if the toilet was overflowing or there was some other unbearable emergency? “just SOL I guess” is what the front desk told me. It was clean but I’d never stay here again because of their lack of foresight and lack of care.

The location is out of this world. It is a little bit from main hub bub of Tahoe City but a 10-15 minute drive depending on traffic. The drive is pretty though. The condo/unit is much smaller than the pictures show , definitely hotel style. No conditioner just one small bottle of shampoo and your basic generic tiny bars of soap. Since I booked the through Airbnb it wasn’t the normal stay that I expected. Had questions of TV, Netflix etc and there hours were like 8-5 to call but they said you could call the lodge desk by zero but it never worked? They replied next day but that didn’t help us when we were in room for the night. No smart TV so no Netflix or any other subscribed things you would normally have. Not too much into TV just nice to watch when we got back to room. Whatever service I was to reply or ask questions to really didn’t know answers. Like closest pickleball courts etc. Not even what they said but we found them. Tahoe is amazing though and this hotel/lodge is nice.

It was okay, no AC in the room but it had 2 fans. Love how big the bathroom.

The amenities were good, but we wish there was an oven. Felt more like a hotel room than an actual condo.
