“The views and location are spectacular, easily the highlight of our stay. The house itself, though, needs attention: damaged floors, a worn kitchen backsplash, and a bathroom window frame with humidity damage and cracks. Even the small things added up, like finding only two soup spoons in a home listed for eight. All fixable, but as it stands the property doesn't live up to the "luxe" label.”airbnb

“We had an amazing stay with our friends. The views are amazing and so many cool areas within the house to hangout in.”airbnb

“I was very disappointed with my stay at this property with Oraklus Rental. The listing was misleading, and the way the management company handled the situation made the experience even more frustrating. The biggest issue was that the listing stated all bedrooms were on the first floor. I specifically booked this property because I was traveling with my handicapped mother, who cannot climb stairs. When we arrived, we discovered there were no bedrooms on the first floor, making the home unsuitable for our needs. This was a major misrepresentation of the property. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the only problem. The house had a strong unpleasant odor when we arrived. It did not appear to have been cleaned properly. The carpets smelled bad, the bathrooms were dirty, the bed sheets had visible stains, and several towels had black and yellow spots. What disappointed me most was how the management company handled the situation. Instead of taking responsibility for it, they charged me for my stay”airbnb

“We were disappointed with our stay, especially given the premium price. The property is located directly on PCH, so there was a significant amount of traffic noise day and night . On top of that, there was ongoing construction immediately outside the bedroom window that began around 6:00 a.m. each morning. This was not disclosed before our arrival and made it very difficult to get a good night's sleep. The A/C was also quite loud and took a long time to cool the unit. The parking situation was inconvenient, particularly with the construction occupying the on-site parking during our stay. Carrying luggage up and down the stairs was another inconvenience that may be worth considering if you have kids or heavy bags. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable, and overall the unit did not feel as clean as we expected. Location is convenient for exploring Malibu and view is alright although nothing to gush about. Overall would not recommend this unit to anyone.”airbnb

“Place was really nice! Location is different than what is listed, about 15 minutes further in land which was a bit of a bummer but still was fun. Also $200 for early check in wasn’t communicated until 24 hours earlier.”airbnb

“The home was nice and stylish, location was decent. We had wanted to get an extention, they sent me the link, but booked with someone else before I could pay. Without any communication. So we had to move with two children and all our luggage. Find other accommodation. Also the home wasn’t clean there were cobwebs in bedroom and pool wasn’t clean. The home was stylish, but does need some TLC.”airbnb

“Great location, poor management. Sliders stuck, screens broken, master bathroom shower doesnt work, oven had issues. Gorgeous view, beautiful house, poor management company. Hope the owner updates their management agency and gives the house some tlc. It could have been great but not worth $$$ in its current state.”airbnb
