Oceans Luxury Vacations's guest rating of 4.78 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The place is quite big enough, good location just at the sea shore, very suitable for families vacations”airbnb

“The property and unit was exactly as described. There are no beach items here tho so you need to plan on bringing your own but they did tell me that there may be none there as other guests often leave/take them. Everything was clean and organized. The HOA on the other hand, came into my unit while we were all sleeping to inspect the door. After that, I felt uneasy and uncomfortable the rest of my stay. Lost my sense of privacy. I did receive an email stating they needed to inspect the following day. However, who checks their emails while vacationing? I seen it the next day after they had come and gone. This needs to be addressed with the HOA disturbing guests during their stay. I have been vacationing in Florida for a decade and this has never happened anywhere I have stayed. Other than the HOA, our stay was great. The unit was great. Plenty of linens and beach towels provided.”airbnb

“We had a very nice stay at Aruba 905. There was easy access to the beach and pool. It would have been nice to have a bathroom located close to the pool, we had to run up to the condo which wasn’t convenient. The condo was clean and well furnished it would have been nice to have additional comfortable seating in the living area, what was there was comfortable but not a lot for 5 people, The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We did have an issue with the washing machine in the unit. The breaker kept flipping off when we used it. We reported the issue to the to the rental office and while they communicated well, it took them until Friday to fix the issue. It was fixed by the time we left. Overall a good place to stay just a few inconveniences that it would have been nice not to have to deal with.”airbnb

“The location is great! Right on the beach, there were plenty of beach toys as well as pool toys. The kids all had a blast and were either in the pool or down at the ocean the whole trip. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen and living room are all that’s on the top floor so it made that space very spacious and open for large gatherings. The only complaint we had was they were having a fly problem while we were there. There were a disgusting amount of flies, in the kitchen and the bedrooms. They did come out and look at it when we notified them but there was nothing done about it so we had to handle it ourselves. Had it not been for the fly infestation, I would have given it a 5 star.”airbnb

“We were happy with such a great find for reasonable price. We had 4 adults and half way into our stay we were told the first bathroom was leaking and we couldn’t use it then we started noticing lots of water coming from under stove. So much water we had to keep several towels doen constantly to absorb the water. Sadly we were only offered $150 refund due to the inconvenience and we paid $1600 for the week, and after complaining we were given an additional $50. Also it would have been nice to know this was HOA owned and the rules were crazy(no back in parking)and secondly it would have been nice to have chairs for the beach stay. Overall we were satisfied with the room. Luckily we had great neighbors bc there’s no privacy between the balconies. Treating us a little more fairly would have helped us become return guests but being so cheap with the money back unfortunately doesn’t help us want to do so.”airbnb

“had black hairs, multiple at that, on both sets of pillow cases on each bed. Then we decided to strip the bed after smelling a funky arm pit smell, and found that no mattress protectors were on either bed, which led us to find multiple decent sized blood stains (or what we thought looked like dried up blood) on various parts of the mattresses. Master had thin, white see through curtains as blinds. Can you guess where the blinds were? They were ripped off of the wall & hidden under our bed, along with 2 inches of dust & some books that would have NEVER been found if we did not investigate like we did. Someone had shoved them under our bed, & used the bed skirt to hide the evidence they planted there. Our attention then got taken by the multiple & noticeable wet & dried up spots that looked like it was nothing but a disturbingly amount of bodily fluids (from men) on both the bed comforter & bed skirt. I have limited characters or would say more! Scammed and have pictures for proof!”airbnb

“It was a beautiful condo however the square footage for the price we paid was quite small. The sleeper sofa was horrible even with a topper available. The entire living room furniture was very uncomfortable. We have been coming to Daytona for years and have stayed in numerous condos. One large issue that we had which we were aware before we came, but I feel that it’s a shame that a condo is rented that has three bedrooms and the facility only offers two parking places. I think whoever is in charge of building these should think more of their guests. I believe a three bedroom condo should have three parking places. Two bedrooms two. We have been coming for over 25 years to the Daytona area and I just find that it’s real sad that these condominiums build these huge places and don’t accommodate their guest in parking. It was very inconvenient for us to pay for parking each day and I have to go back-and-forth retrieving a vehicle. I’m not sure that my voice will be heard but maybe”airbnb

“There is not a dresser in the master, so no where to put folded clothes. All of the closet "doors" were falling off of the sliders, so difficult to open and close. The worst part is that the manager of the building is not very nice to put it mildly, zero tolerance for energetic children. The check in instructions on Airbnb did not make it clear that the key was at the real estate office, not the building, so had we not found someone to open the door to the building for us, we would have ended up staying at a hotel our first night. I normally do not write bad reviews, so this is my first for anything, but felt strongly enough about sharing this as I would have liked to have read this before booking here myself. The condo is right on the water, so it is lovely in that sense.”airbnb

“The place is beautiful abd very nice even looks better in person the only thing I found to be on the downside is they are doing remodeling inside the building which isn’t pleasant to the eyes and causes inconveniences!!! Also you have to travel 5-10 mins down the road to retrieve garage keys so you can get into the parking deck and you also have to drive back a check out to drop them off. I felt that was an inconvenience when they could just be left and the condo itself”airbnb

“The house was nicely renovated and directly on the beach. The setting is quiet, beautiful, modern, and private. The house is all on one floor and the patio overlooking the ocean is convenient if you have grand parents who have mobility issues. The house did not have basic condiments or much in the way of toiletries so keep that in mind. There is no beach gear as well.”airbnb
