“We loved our stay in La Jolla Shores. The beach is easy to walk to and the village with restaurants and stores is reasonable walk as well. The home is very unique, beautiful decor, and well equipped. Everything was comfortable and plenty of spaces to hang out in. We only wish we stayed a bit longer!”

“The location of his home is perfect close to the beach and the city. However, the furniture and place itself is not kept. It is dirty. There was a strong odor of egg in the kitchen, we also found a roach and reported it to the host. The host seemed upset that we reported it “too late“. The furniture did not match and was all dusty and dirty. It definitely did not reflect the pictures on the listing. We would not go back to this place. I feel it the listing is an inaccurate description of the actual place. The host didn’t offer any kind of apology or way to make it up. We were not happy.”

“Good location with everything walkable. Condo had wonderful views of ocean. Rental very rundown with a few things that needs replacing (trash can, blankets with holes). While condo was in desperate need of refreshing, bathrooms and kitchen was clean and tidy. Old building so you could hear other neighbors downstairs. Parking can be an issue. We had to move the car several times, but we knew this going in.”

“The location was terrific, great ocean view from the condo and the balcony area. Great spot to walk our two dogs multiple times a day. Close to restaurants, museums and shopping. We walked everywhere. Condo could do with a deep clean especially in the bathrooms, but overall we really enjoyed our stay.”

“Best part of this stay is the location. It is overpriced for how run down the property is. Our apartment hadn’t been cleaned on arrival but the host did manage to sort this out for us.”

“Bed was clean and comfortable but the space feels unkept with peeling paint on doors, windows you can’t see out of because of broken seals or blinds are broken so you can’t roll them up. Location is great and very walkable. Great outside views; Outdoor space was amazing and a communal space.”
