“We enjoyed our stay! It was nice to have a small place that was dog friendly right on the beach. The home itself is older but was clean. It had pretty much every basic thing you'd need in the kitchen (no oven mits though ;) ) The only real disappointment was that the outside deck area was very unkept. Lots of overgrown weeds right around the house and was just a lot of random beach items strowed any and everywhere. All in all we enjoyed it. The parking situation was fine for us as we only had one vehicle but to our understanding there is a full time tenant in the cottage, so the parking is packed with two full sized vehicles.”

“I hate doing this, because I want to rate this higher because this place has so much potential and it’s a cute little property, but it’s very clear the owner isn't maintaining it. The flooring is broken in several spots and soft underneath indicating a subfloor failure. This was not disclosed. One of the outlets was broken (plastic broken off exposing metal) and another was falling off the wall. It was fixed promptly upon our DM of the electrical issues. The welcome binder was out of date. Light missing on the porch and rusted (almost broken) pub chairs. Porch gate to the side doesn’t line up to lock so it slams open and closed. Property in front has access to the back and it wasn’t disclosed. AC can’t go below 15 degrees lower than outside temp. Bathroom is so tiny you have turn sideways to sit on the toilet. All that said, it’s a lovely beachfront place that could be amazing with some investment. Despite the problems, I'd still stay here again.”

“Unfortunately, I didn’t have the best experience here. When we checked in, we immediately noticed the smell of cat pee. I found multiple sources (including the bath mat) and shared this, but I was told that owners, managers, and contractors were just there and no one else noticed (I could never fully get the smell out of the apartment no matter how much I cleaned). On top of it, the place needed some serious updates. The door frames did not fit the doors, windows were filthy, the washer/dryer didn’t work properly, etc. We pretty much had no other options and had to stay for the entire month.”

“We couldn’t get the place mowed for 10 days. We couldn’t grill because the container was empty and chained to the grill. We had no silverware. The WiFi was not where it was supposed to be and we had poor reception. It was in the bedroom!Three windows were rotted out. Holes in the walls. Fridge handle broke. Those two nice orange chairs shown in the pics WERE NOT THERE! The large burner on the front of the stove was broken…no one ever fixed it. Mouse droppings in the bathroom .Roof was leaking in the living room. It had been patched multiple times.”

“Cute rustic little beach bungalow exactly what I was looking for. No frills but clean and comfortable as advertised. Felt safe, beach access is great, if you enjoy fishing this is the spot! My only wish was for the bedroom window that had the awesome view of the sunrise would open. Would go back for another stay”

“Great beach very private. Would definitely stay there again. Only negative is location, you have to dive 25-30 minutes for any restaurants or activities that are popular in the area.”

“Wish I could have rated this better, it was a place to stay but while semi renovated inside lots of issues from day 1.. The beach access was amazing and mostly private, although the trail was overgrown and poisonous plants. Other than that dont recommend for long stays. Wifi barely worked entire month I was there, so couldnt watch TV either, like at all. Large cockroach on kitchen. Parking issues. towel racks and curtain rods fell off wall every time you tried to use them. I also was missing items that were supposed to be included and someone would drop them off but never did so i ended up purchasing myself. Parked in several times. While they were nice they, just never followed through. Unfortunately ran late checking out and was panicking because I am in process of moving and couldnt fit all in car with animals. After the patience i had about every issue and many going unadressed I found it extremely rude they blew up my phone so the maid could get in for all of 5 mins then leaving.”
