“Location was great. We booked this for the view of the cars on the boardwalk. And we were not disappointed with that. However the place definitely shows its age. And had very interesting smell of almost going back in time. The showers were awful. Water pressure in the one was not existent and the other bathroom was the knob game to keep a consistent temperature. The toilet in the bedroom bathroom wasn’t sure if it was actually bolted down. We eventually ignored that bathroom and we all used a single bathroom. Only having one TV would have been trouble if we would have had any weather. Washer and dryer are shared and outside on the back porch. Blocked by chairs stacked up. Windows had nothing to block the light. When the suns up your up. Nothing for a midday nap. In all the place wasn’t bad but for sure could use some work to bring it back. Would never want to loose the age and beauty of a 100 year old boardwalk home. But not having refreshing bathrooms kills the vibe.”

“Location is amazing! But if your going on busy concert nights it's going to be noisy ALL the time.. still a great place to be I wish that it was clear what unit you were in before booking we were all really hoping for a balcony facing the ocean since that's what the picture showed but got a side unit”

“Great location very close to the festival and affordable compared to other locations. House is an older cottage but we knew this going in. Could use more amenities and supplies. There were no forks, only one decent pan, no outlet in main bathroom and the only mirrors were in the bathroom so this made it difficult to get ready. Did not hear back from Franco on a few questions I sent before we arrived but was greeted by Sam who helps care for the property. He was awesome and reminded us about the coupons on our car passes for the Angler. We ate there three times and the grouper fingers were the best! Coffee pot uses cone filters btw. It was very easy to check in/out and again awesome location. Great little store across the street for supplies. Overall a nice trip and if needed we would stay again.”

“We rented this property for oceans calling, unfortunately there was flooding and we could not reach the property Fri eve or Sat. We contacted Franco’s prop Mang and he said we hadn’t seen anything like this flooding in more than 20 years. We put in a request for a refund and Franco said we needed to go through Airb&b & he wouldn’t fight the process. We did that. Air b&b told us that they only could refund our GC balance used and the rest would need to come from Franco. I was optimistic that he would respond to Airb&b. Franco did not respond to any of their requests and left my messages unread. We never got to the property, we never opened the door. We tried to use the property, we safely could not gain access to the property so we asked for a refund. Air b&b’s major disruptive policy is a joke and they would cover the flooding. I don’t know what else we could have done. A CREDIT or REBOOKING would have been amazing, Franco could you respond to this review?”

“This was the worst encounter I’ve had with an air bnb. I’ll never book with air bnb again after this. Roads were flooded to the property and it was inaccessible. Not wanting to risk the safety of myself and the others I’m with we reached out about a possible refund, not even the full amount because I under stand last minute cancellations. Communicating with Franco was almost impossible he completely overlooked everything we said and kept sending automated messages about check ins and others along those lines. I hope they enjoy the free money they got because we didn’t think the travel was worth our safety. To add more context the property was on talbot street next to inlet where the flooding was the worst.”

“The place was fine. We selected due to the proximity of Ocean's Calling which sadly didn't happen due to weather and so were stuck with an extremely expensive very mediocre AirBnb for the weekend. It could have been cleaner - was quite dusty and trash was found in some of the rooms. The kitchen was extremely ill-equipped. Barely any silverware, usable cups or glasses, dishes and everything was in poor condition. Very few cleaning and amenity items included for the price of the place. The "modifications" that have been made to allow for additional air conditioning units were strange and made it so that one of the sliding doors to the balcony from the bedroom couldn't open. The listing made it look like there was a full extra bed that was actually only a trundle. Would consider again for the location but certainly not at the price we paid. I understand we paid for location but. At luxury prices I expect more.”

“This place had an exceptional view, located right on the boardwalk. Other than that it was horrible. There were cockroaches, had a gas leak because the stove was broken. Maintenance did fix it but it took up all of our morning/afternoon. Stove wasn’t the only thing broken, all outlets were coming out of the wall and only a few worked. Tv worked when it wanted. Place was not clean, sand covered floors. Just dirty is general. I reached out to the guy who owns the home and he said sorry and that was it. Sorry didn’t cut it when you paid 2800 for 4 nights. I hate being negative nancy but this is just an honest review!”

“Great location with easy access to the beach and boardwalk. However, we were unable to check in until nearly two hours after the scheduled check-in time because the unit was not ready and was still being cleaned. Due to the rushed turnover, the unit was not cleaned properly. In addition, there were holes in the walls, missing door knobs, and missing kitchen cabinet doors, all of which detracted from the overall experience.”

“Not a good experience .The TV in the master bed does not work. I spent about 2 hours trying to figure how to get the pictures on. I gave up and called the non- emergency number. The manager (Cindy) picked up. She was aware TV was not working and expected the TV to have been removed from the TV. She could not provide any update on when it could repaired or replaced. Future renters: please be aware of this store in case you get it from Cindy (post 5/26/26) There were other emergencies to attend to she said. Not sympathetic, but rude. Very rude and in my opinion, crude to say the least. I can’t stay here or any of place offered by the renters.”

“The building weathered to include the furniture inside and out. The paint was peeling off the building. You could tell that lead paint had started to be stripped away. The awnings were disgusting. There were no updates, and there was rust on the refrigerator. The unit showed as though it hadn’t been updated or cared for in 20 years. The positive was the location of the property.”
