Manager Review

Ocean City Hotel Group Vacation Rentals

Ocean City Hotel Group Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.37 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

This place had an exceptional view, located right on the boardwalk. Other than that it was horrible. There were cockroaches, had a gas leak because the stove was broken. Maintenance did fix it but it took up all of our morning/afternoon. Stove wasn’t the only thing broken, all outlets were coming out of the wall and only a few worked. Tv worked when it wanted. Place was not clean, sand covered floors. Just dirty is general. I reached out to the guy who owns the home and he said sorry and that was it. Sorry didn’t cut it when you paid 2800 for 4 nights. I hate being negative nancy but this is just an honest review!

Great location with easy access to the beach and boardwalk. However, we were unable to check in until nearly two hours after the scheduled check-in time because the unit was not ready and was still being cleaned. Due to the rushed turnover, the unit was not cleaned properly. In addition, there were holes in the walls, missing door knobs, and missing kitchen cabinet doors, all of which detracted from the overall experience.

There were rules on who could stay, they were not followed and we were kept up all night with music and partying. I understand we were there during senior week but once I read those rules I naively thought the partying wouldn’t affect us. In the room, you’re met with humidity and the smell of dirty window unit ac filters. Also, there were small pieces of trash left on the floor which looked like holes punched out of cardboard, there was water dripping from the bathroom window, and all the furniture felt like it was damp. The last part, I know the owner has no control over, the smell of dumpsters is overwhelming as soon as you park or step out the rental door. If I were a younger person or there to party none of this would’ve bothered me however, we paid $750 for a weekend that we ended early, didn’t sleep , and didn’t feel comfortable touching any furniture. That’s a decent hotel price for a bad experience.

Not a good experience .The TV in the master bed does not work. I spent about 2 hours trying to figure how to get the pictures on. I gave up and called the non- emergency number. The manager (Cindy) picked up. She was aware TV was not working and expected the TV to have been removed from the TV. She could not provide any update on when it could repaired or replaced. Future renters: please be aware of this store in case you get it from Cindy (post 5/26/26) There were other emergencies to attend to she said. Not sympathetic, but rude. Very rude and in my opinion, crude to say the least. I can’t stay here or any of place offered by the renters.

Loved the Airbnb, especially the spacious layout and how close it was to the beach. It would have been a five-star stay if a few small things were fixed. I’d definitely come back if those changes are made.

The building weathered to include the furniture inside and out. The paint was peeling off the building. You could tell that lead paint had started to be stripped away. The awnings were disgusting. There were no updates, and there was rust on the refrigerator. The unit showed as though it hadn’t been updated or cared for in 20 years. The positive was the location of the property.

It was unseasonably cold for this time of the year and their is no heat in the upstairs bedroom so I to purchase a heater from the local hardware store.

Place was beautiful. Only problem was there was only 2 small saucepans. We were cooking dinner for 14 and I had to go buy a larger pot for pasta and there was not enough flatware( forks and knives). Bring your own. 2 pots that were there were dirty and scratched. Couldn’t(wouldn’t) use them.
